The Parks Guest House

Everything about our stay was wonderful, the breakfast was delicious, the beds were so comfortable and the staff couldn’t do enough for you.

The bedroom with its double bed and spare radiator incase of getting cold during the night.

This guest house has everything going for it . The hosts Chris and Sue are welcoming and are very well organised in all they do . It seems a small thing , but I was greeted by Christian name when I came down for breakfast . That's a first for me , and was typical of the standards set at The Parks ; attention to detail . You will not have a better breakfast anywhere in my view . There was everything you could possibly want to eat , plenty of choice , plenty of it , and cooked to perfection . My room was very clean , warm comfortable, and had all I could need and then some . Even a foldaway chair in the shower room , should you require one . I would say that Chris and Sue have themselves stayed in guest houses and know what is required for convenience when staying somewhere . The room was serviced daily , which hasn't always happened in other establishments I have stayed in This is a very homely , comfortable guest house , and I looked forward to going back each evening . I can highly recommend The Parks , and will return myself the next time I visit Minehead, assuming there is a vacancy .

Quiet Location

The location was absolutely great. Not at all noisy but a 5 minute walk into town. Breakfast was delicious and the couple who own the Parks were very friendly and helpful. I loved the top bedroom, as it was quiet and cosy.

Everything was individual and unlike the sameness of places like Premier Inn

Old fashioned quality establishment, with delightful room and excellent breakfast

May not be best for those with walking difficulties to reach beach or buses.,
