Perfectly immaculate stay with amazing breakfast.

The place is immaculately kept, feels very lux. Breakfast is fantastic. As a dog lover I was positively surprised to pet the dogs in the morning.

Everything was perfect. It would be great to have a gym but they mentioned it will be added in the next few months.

Fancy but noisy

Clean, comfortable, beautifully restored old house, superb breakfast, on site parking with charger for electric cars (20€ per charge)

Although this looks like a rural, peaceful B&B, the road is VERY busy from 6 AM and we could feel vibrations and hear noise as each bus passes next to the house. The bathroom fan gets on when humidity is over a certain level, but it's not controllable neither it can reduce the humidity under that threshold, which means that we had to listen to the humming of it all night. There was also a lot of ladybugs in the area recently and since there are no insect nets on the room windows, they were flying around the room. Staff helped vacuum clean them, but they kept coming in the room (this is a temporary issue it seems).

A true gem!

What is not to like!? The welcome card says “Welcome to your home!”. Trust me, by the time you leave, you wish it was yours to stay forever! The property is gorgeous - tastefully restored and decorated. Our room was quiet and even with the extremely high temperature outside it felt cool. The bed was super comfortable, linen crisp and beautifully embroidered. A delicious and sumptuous breakfast in the morning sets you up for the day. The owners are extremely friendly, helpful and make you really feel welcome. When you run out of superlatives to describe a place, you know it is a winner. It was a delight to stay at the Sterckxhof!

Exceptional

This was our second stay at the property and this time during corona. Because of that check-in was contactless and breakfast was done to the room. It is great that this place could adapt to this situation. Rooms are very nice. The whole building is historic and has great vibe.

Superb

Fantastic breakfast! Lovely eetkamer filled with the soft light of the morning sun, freshly baked bread and croissants. The buns were simply amazing!!! Lovely location with historical background. Easy checkin!

Probably the wind took some papers in the grass of the back yard, making it look not clean enough. ( the grass was trimmed and flowers freshly cut, so I think it was just the wind )

Niet zo positief, B&B geen 4 sterren waardig. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Ligging van de B&B, rustige omgeving om te wandelen en te fietsen. Onmiddellijk binnen het bereik van Brussel waar we voor ons weekendje een afspraak hadden.

Inkom onmiddellijk in de slaapplaats. Geen tapijt om je voeten te vegen. Met het heel slechte weer houten vloer onmiddellijk vuil. Langs de ene kant van het bed slechts 15cm tussen het bed en de schouw? Heel moeilijk om het bed te bereiken zonder tegen de schouw aan te stoten. Kamer bevindt zich tegenover de parking, gelegen buiten de mooie binnenplaats. Geen raambekleding waardoor je volledige in het zicht zit van alle personen die toekomen en vertrekken. Ontbijt was beperkt, weinig soorten brood. Koffiemachine werkte heel slecht.
