This hotel exceeded my expectations; the reception area was charming, and seemed very authentic, and every staff member I encountered was pleasant and friendly. For an extra charge, a quintessentially French continental breakfast was served, and was worth the extra charge. The location couldn't have been better; directly off the main square in Montpellier, and a 5 minute walk to the station.
The single room I stayed in was quite small, and the shower room in particular was very cramped. However, this was reflected in the price, and it wouldn't put me off staying at this hotel again; I'd just book a double room next time.

Location. Every bit as well located as the rather more expensive 'Midi' at the other end of the square. Right in the heart of everything.
well, as it's cheap, the room felt cheap. clean, tidy, air con worked, but it was a tiny room. The shower was a bit weedy, but still delivered hot water, if a little reluctantly.

No door to bathroom, smell in the room, not comfortable bed, no view from window indeed wall with pigeons and shit on the windows.
