A lovely stay

We had the hayloft suit, it was nice and spacious, loved the wide staircase. The shower was amazing too. It was immaculate there.

It was a little cold, wish we had control of the heating system .The sofa wasn’t cozy to relax on, so after dinner we spent the evening in bed and watched the television there instead.

A beautiful venue, close to Tenby and ticked all of our boxes for a wonderful New Years Eve break. Staff were extremely professional and went over and above to ensure we had the best time helping us book a venue for NY Eve in the heart of Tenby and a taxi there and back.

Beautiful property, warm and cosy with amazing staff and wonderful restaurant

We were staying for a family funeral. Not only were the staff exceptional in supporting us in every way they could but the facilities are excellent. Even with snow outside, it was wonderfully warm with the open fires in the snug and dining / bar areas. We had both dinner (fabulous local fish) and breakfast (delicious) there! Thank you Kim and Team Trefloyne. A special shoutout to Julia for going over and beyond

Great stay, highly recommend!

The room was spacious and comfortable. It was great to have spaces to sit and enjoy a drink by the fire. We enjoyed the golf course! We got a taxi to Tenby for dinner, highly recommend as reasonable price. Staff were very helpful with providing numbers for local taxis, very friendly and welcoming.

mixed feelings

The staff are always very pleasent and helpful. Parking is easy. Dinner on Saturday evening was excellent. I have stayed here before and appreciated the quality of the Chef particularly the fish dishes so I booked again for the weekend so that my partner could enjoy the Restaurant too.

I stayed in Trefloyne before in a wonderful room in the main house, this time I booked a Suite but they then phoned me to say they had to swap me out of the Suite into a 'very nice room'. However, it was upstairs in the stable block, was very small and the window opened onto the public walkway, so not much privacy. This was disappointing. Then on the 2nd night the choices in the restaurant were limited, my partner ordered Salt Marsh Lamb (a rare treat) and I ordered roast Beef. When our meals arrived they were both very evidently left over lunch time roasts that had been microwaved warm. The meat was leathery, the potato's and vegetables had a recycled taste. I overheard another Diner saying that it wasn't nice. We complained and had one meal credited but we didn't in fact eat either, it was one of the worst dinners we've had in a long time. After the superb standard the night before and on my previous stay at the hotel this meal was utterly disappointing.

This is the place to stay.. AMAZING

This hotel was amazing! I don’t know how I haven’t found this gem of a hotel before. Everything was truly amazing from start to finish.. luxurious but charming with it in everything we saw. The spa was amazing.. we both had the best massage and so reasonably priced.. beautiful little spa treatment room… the hotel was stunning, staff amazing they really were .. shout out to Julia who made had a lovely chat to us and she clearly loves working at this beautiful hotel. The gentleman and lady on the desk were so welcoming .. good start… the food was out of this world .. seafood to die for as well and a must if you love seafood … great menu choices! Then our room.. we stayed in the coach house and it was beautiful .. welcoming, rustic and warm and luxurious too.. for a much needed romantic break this ticked all our boxes and is now top of our list for a stay … we are well “hotel” travelled.. but this just left us in complete awe and we can’t wait to go back. Thank you to everyone at the hotel and spa who made this stay so memorable .. you should be very proud of yourselves.. hospitality at its finest… Ellie and Pete xx

The food was amazing. Staff very friendly/attentive/professional without being a distraction from the evening. The rooms are very in keeping with the aesthetics/style of the property. Very relaxed atmosphere to enjoy conversation make the night enjoyable.

I feel extra relaxation/leisure facilities would be beneficial to the appeal.

We’d booked the restaurant for our second evening. The menu looked amazing! Unfortunately the restaurant was very busy that evening and a number of options had sold out very early. That said, the mussels were excellent and the cheeseboard exceptional.

This place is amazing. Lovely spacious room. Great food. Awesome views. Friendly and welcoming staff, a special mention to Danielle who checked us in and made us feel at home straight away. Also Laura in the spa who gave a relaxing massage.

This is the second time we have stayed here. Location is great and if you like golf the scenery is superb. The staff are all so friendly especially Danielle at front of house. She goes the extra mile to make sure you have the best stay ever.

Fantastic staff & hotel!

We booked a last-minute stay and were so impressed with the service from the start. Just 15 minutes after booking, a member of staff called to check our arrival time and see if we needed a restaurant reservation. We were also upgraded on arrival, and the room was absolutely beautiful. The entire stay, including breakfast, was fantastic. A special thanks to Danielle, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome – her attention to detail really stood out. Highly recommend!

Hidden Gem

The location is wonderful, overlooking a beautiful golf course. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Special mention to Danielle who was especially helpful. The grounds are beautiful with lovely plants and shrubs. .

Whilst it wasn't a major issue (probably because so little time was spent in there) However, the chair and sofa in our suite were not comfortable unfortunately. Probably this would have been more an issue in the winter when more time was spent in there but given the premium added for a suite, I would have expected the furniture to be better.
