About this apartment rental
Olde Gatlinburg Place Condominiums is located in downtown Gatlinburg just a little over 1 block from the Main Parkway. It's a short walk to Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies and the Mountain Mall. The complex has a heated seasonal outdoor pool with hot tub. It also offers free wireless internet. This unit is a one bedroom with a queen bed in the bedroom. It also has a queen size sofa bed in the living room. The kitchenette consists of a full size refrigerator, microwave, Coffee Maker, and a 2 burner range stove. This unit is also a smoking room.

Overall, our stay at Olde Gatlinburg 606 was fine. The location was good for shopping and dining, however, we were there to hike in the Great Smoky National Park and getting to and from the park was difficult due to the fact we had to pass through downtown Gatlinburg to get to and from the park and the shear mass of people in Gatlinburg for the 4th of July weekend made it extremely difficult to do so. Not the fault of the vacation property, just bad timing on our part. The condo unit had a leaking exhaust fan in the bathroom that made it difficult to use the toilet without getting wet, but it did get fixed.

It is not as dated as the pictures. It was a perfect location. We walked down to the strip with zero issues, the perfect walk back to walk off the dinner. I would stay again

Number 606 is very basic, hasn't been deep cleaned in a while. The furniture is old, sit on the couch and you sink down to the bottom, pink chair needs cleaning or trash. Bedroom linens so old they have no color, room shelves and bedframe old wicker. The mattresses are beyond squeaky! The bathroom is decent but could use a fresh shower liner.The kitchenette is equipped with utensils etc which is good. Balcony is nice, location is definitely the best thing. I would splurge for one of the "more expensive" rooms if you are picky in any way. Check in and check out is no contact, via email.
