The location is really close to the meeting point for most of the activities you can do in Tromsø so that was perfect.
The room was a good size, the shower and heating were really good and the staff at reception were friendly. I didn't use the kitchen or the lounge area but both looked good from what I could see.
Not the hotel's fault but just be aware that the road leading up to it can be very icy in winter. There's a handrail on the side of the building that can help but it doesn't go all the way up to the entrance.
Also the window in my room was quite difficult to open/close. It seems quite expensive BUT if put into perspective with the cost of everything in Norway, it really is probably affordable for the area.

The room was cosy and clean with a fridge and sink, and the beds were comfy. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and gave us lots of tips about activities and where to look for the northern lights. The nice little dining and kitchen space was great, and the free tea and coffee was appreciated!
The price point seems high for what it is but I suspect its reasonable for the area

Very nice and friendly staff at reception.
There's a common area with tables where you can bring your food and eat - there is also a shared kitchen and free coffee.
The location is also very good as it's a 10 minutes walk from the city center and 5 minutes from bus stops and there's also supermarkets around.
Wifi in the room was really poor to the point of it not working at all.
The shower let water through into the whole bathroom so when we showered everything was flooded.
Window curtains did not cover everything so there was light coming through and people could even see inside if they were curious.
We could hear noise when people showered or walked upstairs or even outside in the street - there was constant noise.
Finally, after checking out we were marked as a no show (which means we would not be allowed to leave a review. I wonder if it's on purpose or if it was an accident)
