Location was excellent, good kitchen and great hostel to chat and meet people. Would recommend. It's costly, but decent priced for Tromso. Also was upgraded from 5 bed to 4 bed.
Rooms didnt really get cleaned, apart from bins. I was in the room when cleaner would come in sometimes, but they just changed bins, no floor sweep etc. Also with reception being so short, if you had questions, there was noone to ask for things to do etc.

Location was perfect for shopping, going to the cable car, buses and transfer to airport. It was an older building. Lovely lounge area to rest in. Lovely people staying there and very friendly and great to meet people from all other countries.
Only one shower for all the rooms. Toilet was in the bathroom. Second toilet upstairs but would benefit for another toilet. Toilet and shower in one room. Better if toilet separate.

The location is great for a city trip, you can definitely walk to all sightseeing things and tours. I stayed in room 11 which was only 4 bed even though I booked 5 bed which was great! A lot of space!
All other rooms except room 11 seemed very small. The bathroom is ok, the shower on the top floor was horrible, you couldn’t close the glass door… also nothing for tall people.
Also, the staff seemed very uninterested, the hostel wasn’t really clean (not dirty either) but it definitely need some rework (new mattress, renovating the shower, deep clean kitchen, better area to eat, like tables are missing,..). I mean Tromso is expensive but if I would be the owner (and price my dorm at 100€+) I would like to create a nice and cozy home for the youth which book hostels not this mediocre hostel.
