Repeat customers. Love location and hotel .
Nice personal, professional. Easy to travel to any place in South of France .

Very much about the superb cuisine and accompanying service, very enjoyable.
Great staff, easy parking, outstanding food, especially evening dinner but light lunch as well. We had one of the two large rooms in the main house, which was enormous. View from the restaurant terrace over the valley and out to the sea in the distance was stunning and a great accompaniment to the superb food.
Being in the main house we were quite a walk from the pool area but obvs very convenient for meals. Pool could have done with a few more sunbeds. Not much to see in the local area but very convenient for the lovely St Paul de Vence and Valbonne.

Great with just one flaw.
I booked last minute due to a flight cancellation, so the price was not the main consideration and I'm not sure it was the usual price.
A short drive from Saint Paul de Vence.
The receptionist was very attentive and welcoming.
The place is very nice, huge room with a living area, garden, sprawling bathroom.
Outstanding breakfast -but take your time!
Sheets had pilling and were quite rough! They didn't match the quality of the rest.

Gorgeous hotel, warm and welcoming staff, lovely, spacious and comfortable rooms and Michelin star restaurant sublime
Nothing! Some of the bookings.com photos don’t do it justice. It was beautiful.

Beautiful
Beautiful little boutique hotel. The rooms are really lovely and spacious and the pool was a nice touch! Unfortunately we didn’t get to try the restaurant but breakfast was lovely
There are a lot of ants - if you stay in a ground floor room it can be a problem!

We had a lovely time at the hotel which is in a beautiful location. The restaurant is exceptional and the reception and
The staff are good, particularly the waiting staff. The restaurant is incredible and the food deserving of a Michelin star. The views are stunning. The breakfast is one of the best we’ve had in a hotel and reasonable too. The location is beautiful. Our room was generally lovely and was spacious, light and airy. The swimming pool was lovely and clean and mostly empty. I would definitely return if I was in the area.
The shower in our room didn’t have a curtain or door so the bathroom flooded each time and we don’t believe this issue was ever addressed. Housekeeping was poor - they were slow not cleaning the room til the afternoon and only after we had asked 3 times for it to be done. As we had to use the towels to mop the floor it was important we had clean towels but this also seemed to be too difficult for them. Housekeeping also left the bedroom door wide open while not in the room. I had to raise the fact that a plug socket was lose and so dangerous. They could do with a few more sunbeds by the pool.

Highly recommended but a few wrinkles to iron
Wonderful peaceful location and very spacious rooms. Very comfortable. Breakfast exceptional and dinner outstanding. Lovely friendly staff, especially in the restaurant. A memorable stay.
A few little issues which were a surprise in a Michelin hotel but none of them deal-breakers.... A broken kettle that wasn't replaced in the room (we were there 3 nights), bathroom door that clearly hadn't been dusted for months, the in room telephone (to call reception) did not work so was a designer paperweight, an incorrect invoice on departure. Some of the reception staff could learn customer services skills from their fabulous colleagues in the restaurant. I'm being deliberately picky because this is a superb place that is well worth staying at - smoothing a few rough edges would make it even better.

romantic and relaxing
we stayed here for our honeymoon and the property and the location felt very romantic and special. our room was very large and comfortable and the location was incredibly peaceful.
without having a car, the location is a bit removed from the main train line and walking up to st paul de vence is not recommended as there is no sidewalk that goes all the way up. however, the bus line is very easy to navigate so that is definitely a plus!

Quiet position with excellent view. Junior suite with small ideal garden with stretcher and umbrella

Lovely property, wish we had lunch (not dinner) at the restaurant.
The property is a great location (if you have a car - parking is free). The hotel staff was welcoming. The bed was very comfortable and the pool temperature was lovely.
We dined at the renowned on-site Michelin star restaurant and were a little underwhelmed with the service and some of the food items. That said the terrace view is world class.

Nice hotel within easy driving distance of St Paul de Vence
Nice hotel within easy driving distance of St Paul de Vence. The hotel receptionist was excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable. The room was large with a comfortable bed and all the usual amenities. There was also secure parking at the hotel. Good value accomodation so close to St Paul de Vence
In it's day the hotel and the rooms would have been fabulous but we found the grounds and the rooms a little tired.

Beautiful rooms and traditional 1-Michelin star service
Loved the Van Gogh junior suite with balcony.
Quiet, safe, comfortable. Huge bed.
Chocolate in room.
Chef Alain Llorca greeted every table at lunch.
The pool looked inviting though I spotted it too late to have a swim.
Team - very busy and mainly very friendly.
A bar or seating area other than the sofas in lobby would be great.
Breakfast buffet was pleasant - just cheese (delicious), fruit, bread, croissants and juices, €30.
I had to ask for the market lunch menu (very good) which I’d seen on website as I was initially offered the degustation and a la carte only.
Sommelier brought the wrong wine but changed it when error was spotted.

Glorious. Shame about the attempt to rip us off. Otherwise a wonderful hotel
Thé room was amazing. Sylvia from front of house was wonderful. Pascale less so
Pascale tried to charge us for breakfast for 5 mornings including when we hadn’t even arrived at the hotel. We did not have breakfast at all on any morning and he did not have the grace to apologise for the mistake.

One of the most beautiful places I've been!
The hotel restaurant has a million dollar view! The breakfasts are very good, prepared with local products, served especially for you. Of course, the restaurant is excellent, it is a 1 Michelin star after all, but there is no excessive celebrity and stiffness in service here. The restaurant is not cheap, but you can easily eat cheaper in a nearby town. The hotel has only a few rooms, so there is incredible peace and quiet here. Really relaxing. My deluxe room was very large with a patio. Very comfortable bed, sofa, bath and shower. It had everything I needed except maybe a hair dryer, there were even two but both were weak. In addition, a nice swimming pool, quite large for swimming and overwhelming silence and incredible views of the town of St Paul d'Vence, the surrounding mountains, valleys and the Mediterranean Sea.
Plus great service. Very nice and professional waiters in the restaurant. And two people, Mr. and Mrs. whose names I do not know, who work at the reception - they are really the best people in their place. During my three weeks in France, I have never seen anyone work so quickly and efficiently! Thank you and I really recommend this place!
I would probably ask for an upstairs room next time to have a better view of the valley and the sea.
And maybe hair dryer will be better :) If you are travelling by taxi it will be quite expansive to go out from here, but... it is worth paying, my taxi was always Jaguar:)))

Besides the wonderful accommodation, Chef Alain’s Cuisine Provençale Cuisine deserves more Michelin Stars 😊🙏🇫🇷⭐️⭐️⭐️
The accommodation was exceptional in every way, beautiful decor, facilities and generous room size with a view over the valley
Nothing, everything was amazing

A beautiful hotel in a scenery setting. Very friendly and helpful staff. Large, beautifully decorated room!
And a heated pool was an extra bonus.

Lovely setting putside St Paul de Vence
Lovely room with great views from the balcony. Spacious and comfortable. Surrounding grounds were lovely
Difficult to manoeuvre the car down and up from the car park and then had to carry our heavy bags up a slope and stairs to our room (we had a nice man help on arrival). Breakfast was disappoining for 27 euros . Eggs etc. Was extra

Excellent dinner!
The hotel's breakfast, and especially dinner, was of the highest culinary level!
There was a lack of cleanliness in the room and on the terrace.

Would go again
Welcoming was nice. The location and view were tremendous. Breakfast extremely good. Our room was spacious and everything was quality in the room. The evening meal very good, there again it is a Michelin star restaurant, so should be good
Going down to the car park was tricky. Getting in and out of the car park challenging. Walking up and down very steep steps to go back and forward to the hotel was not for the unfit (A golf type buggy was available for transporting people up and down)
