Lovely gardens and super friendly and helpful staff. The thermal pool was nice and warm. The place is easy to get to as a bus stop is just around the corner. It's a few hundred meters to the sea. I got the choice between two rooms which I appreciated, and the balcony and bathroom were spacious and had enough space to hang up things. Towels were changed everyday and the reception provided extra towels and bathrobes for the pool.
The breakfast (lots of sweet cakes and croissants but not much of a variety - one type of bread, cut meat and cheese each - and few vegetables - just a bowl of tomatoes; there was some whole pieces of fruit provided but I wished there would have been options like a cut fruit salad and more cheeses, types of bread, cereal).
The Wellness centre was also quite noisy and felt like an underground laundry - not necessarily a space where I felt I could relax, although staff here again were nice and friendly

Everything was Exceptional.! The amazing friendly staff, wonderful service, so professional and kind and efficient. Superb food and drinks and terrific value. A perfect room overlooking the beautiful gardens where we could also see the sea from our balcony..always kept spotless by Anna Rita. Such glorious gardens for me a Horticulturist and Garden Designer.. pure bliss. š„°The spacious expanse of this peaceful hotel, walking around citrus groves, scented shrubs and flowers everywhere, lantana, jasmine, rosemary, lavender and eucalyptus trees, listening to cicadas and birds was so magical! Banana trees by the beautiful lagoon like pool with bananas on one ..tranquil and thermal water perfect for the 27degree sunshine..My daughter and I enjoyed our best holiday yet returning renewed to the Irish rainšLunch under the loggia sipping Aperols and Asti Spumante with bruschetta and wonderful salads..served by the charming friendly barstaff..pure heaven with the afternoon sunlight filtering through the tropical foliage.
Giuseppe and Francesca organised a personalised Airport shuttle to the Molo Beverello ferry on our arrival and return trip and Marco such a kind chatty taxi driver. Gianni the smiling night porter was so helpful when my daughter had no lighter for her cigarettes at 1am..the reliefš
We cannot wait to return to Bella Isola d'Ischia.. and especially to The Best hotel in Forio for surešin our four trips to Ischia since 2005.
Grazie Mille to Annalise, Francesca, Giuseppe, Elena, Angela, Federica and the charming Ionande ( Leonardo?)who collected us on our arrival from the port the first day of our Wonderful holiday!

It was spotless clean, drinks were cheap and food was okay.
The place is far away from any restaurants/bars/piers. Taxi from the pier/town to the hotel was $50 euros, so imagine paying that twice a day. Also the hotel is meant to be for older people, beds were very very uncomfortable. Last but not least, our stay included the breakfast and the only day we decided to give it a try, we were denied and had to buy sandwiches.
