We had a King room w/ balcony and sea view and it was a very nice room and the view was great! They had a small patio table and two chairs, plus a clothes hanging device with clothes pins, so we could do laundry! The bathroom had an enclosed shower (unlike the half open kind many European hotels have) and great water pressure. The elevators worked well. Breakfast had a good variety and was tasty. The pool was adequate but nothing special and there was a bar there open at 4 p.m. for those that wish to partake. There is a bus stop right out in front of the hotel that we took to the Gardens, and then another one up the hill we took to Sant'Angelo. The hotel can sell you a bus day pass ticket, but they don't always tell you they can, so be sure to ask. Lastly, the Giardani Poseiden Thermal Park is right down the street from the hotel, so five minute walk and very convenient!
Breakfast doesn't start until 8 a.m., which is far too late, especially if you have tours. They have a downstairs bar that you can try to find someone at 7 a.m. to make you a coffee. We also had a very hard time finding ice to make drinks in our room with, but the bar man did the best he could. They do not have pool towels, so we had to buy one in town. Lastly, this is very much a "local" hotel, so getting staff members to speak English was a challenge, and they seem to treat outsiders differently than locals, like not giving us a window seat at breakfast.

Nice views from our room balcony of the beach and mountains. There is no air-conditioning in the rooms in May, but the sea breeze helped.
Decor is quite dated (like most hotels in Ischia it seems) and mostly for the older demographic and retirees, so we felt a little out of place as a couple in our early 30s. Also, breakfast selection was small and not very good. Also, location of hotel was only close to the Poseidon thermal spa - everything else like Forio town required us to take the bus which could be quite infrequent. Hotel is also a little hard to get back to at night with the buses.
