Not Worth the Money

It is okay but definitely not worth the money. $250 usd a night for basic room and no breakfast. But, this is peak season so the hotels can charge what they want The nicest part of my stay was the receptionist Ms Nalinee. Great attitude. Very helpful and cheerful

just too expensive for what you get. Loud music at night was a put-off. I also wonder when hotels and teach our housekeeping staff not to laugh and shout outside guest room. There were three or four of them talking outside my room and I had to tell them to be quiet.

Great place for stay with teen kids. I felt very safe here and even it’s busy area it was peaceful.

We stayed in 2 linked by another room bungalows which was perfect for our teen kids who wanted to have some privacy and we had them close. Bungalows were dated a bit but still ok for comfortable stay. Close to the beach and busy street, however, it was located far enough we couldn’t hear any noises. Very friendly staff and ok breakfast which was very repetitive, if you stay longer then 5 nights. Gardens around bungalows were looked after every day and swimming pools were clean.

Nothing to dislike just a bit of room, especially bathroom renovation would be desirable soon

Good facilities, clean room, nice vibe at the reception and pool area, close to the beach (only the walk there from the back of the hotel might not be super fancy). We didn’t use any facilities at the resort because there are plenty of offers with better price outside of the resort.

We had a room with the night club next to it (unlucky) so there were a noise coming half of the night. At the check out lady said that they are missing some kind of laundry bag, which we never had in our room, but eventually they said all good and didn’t ask anything from us.

If you are in certain rooms you could hear some of the bars on the main strip. The bathroom in our room could also have done with a little touching up. It would have been nice if one of the three pools didn’t have a kids pool too.

Overall good experience except the Check-in process.

Location was perfect, close to market area.

Check in process. I requested for early check-in as we reached Hotel at 1300 hrs, but they didn’t give us our room till 16:30 hrs. That was really bad experience and we couldn’t plan for any tour that day.

The location is the only positive thing about the hotel.

Everything else but the location. - The room was not clean when we arrived - The room didn’t match with the description on the website - Housekeeping took 5 hours to bring us a second set of towels (which was originally missing when we arrived) - The facilities are old and not maintained (Pool, Showers, common areas) - There was no music, no ambiance, the restaurant / bar felt dead, my wife who works in healthcare compared it to the palliative care unit in hospitals… - The access card to enter to room stopped working after a few hours, we constantly had to go back to the reception to get them to work again (very convenient when it’s storming and you’re getting back to your room at 2am - There were no easily accessible plug outlets in the bedroom, only a few far from the bed - The isolation wasn’t great, we could hear kids/people from the next door hotel playing in the pool at 8am sharp

Could have been so much better.

The resort was nice but had a lot of problems.

2 of the 3 pools were out of use meaning the 1 pool left was used by whole resort. Staff pretended they knew nothing about it. The outside shower was disgusting. Mould and algea and never cleaned. We did report to booking.com but took 4 days to reply then asked us for evidence but unable to post videos. We paid a lot of money for this resort and it was not worth the money.

A relaxing stay in peaceful surroundings set in a lagoon

Peace Laguna was on the edge of Ao Nang Bea h area. The resort is large with numerous 2 story cottages and hotel style buildings. The setting on a Lagoon with mountain backdrop is really nice. There were 3 main pools and sun bathing areas so never too far to walk to take advantage of the facilities. Breakfast was a large buffet service catering for all tastes Eastern and Western, plentiful and of very decent quality. Location was just a short walk from the Main Street full of bars and restaurants. Hotel staff were very welcoming , always courteous and helpful. Although the resort is looking a little dated, there is ongoing upkeep and maintenance to keep things looking good. The room was large and well proportioned.

The room keycard and door swipe interface often had issues opening with us needing to walk back to reception on a few occasions to get a new room keycard. I seen other guests have similar issues.

Very good value

Our room was great plenty of space and great outdoor shower. Breakfast was really good with lots of choices and the hot dishes were really nice and different each day. Location was excellent 5 min walk to the beach, plenty of shops and restaurants 2 mins walk away to Main Street but none of the noise. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Great Location and value for money

Great location, walking distance to hustle and bustle of Ao Nang and the beach. Resort is nice and peaceful, rooms are spacious. Breakfast was good.

This place lives up to its name!

The ambience of the resort is top quality. So relaxing. The surroundings are beautiful. We stayed in a cottage which we are so pleased that we did. The location of the resort is perfect. Close enough to everything but still a quiet haven. Finally, the staff were really lovely. Special mention to the reception staff. Really welcoming. Thanks Nalinee 😊

Bad ventilation in the bathroom and humidity in the room. Clothes would not dry.

The hotel is very nice and the location is great. Close to the beach, close to the main road yet still quiet and calm.

The hotel has several different areas for accommodation, and we were placed in one of the older sections. Unfortunately, the room was quite humid, and the bathroom wasn't very clean. It had some mold and lacked proper ventilation. There was no window or fan to reduce the natural humidity, so all the moisture from the bathroom spread into the rest of the room. You also need to place a sign next to your door if you want housekeeping service. While we were aware of this policy, it's easy to forget when you're heading out. If you forget to put the sign up, the room simply won't be cleaned, and there's no option to request it later in the day. This was a bit disappointing, especially since our towels remained damp and couldn't dry properly in such a humid environment.
