An absolutely amazing estate with a deeply unique feel. We stayed in a beautiful room inside a mansion that is over 150 years old. It is located in a quiet Buda neighborhood, completely surrounded by trees, greenery, and singing birds. Beyond the incredible space, the human connection made this stay unforgettable. When I mentioned to the owner that I am Jewish, she invited me to see something special. Her grandfather was recognized as Righteous Among the Nations for risking his life to save Jews in Hungary during WWII. We shared a truly beautiful, heartfelt moment discussing this history. On top of that, her 11-year-old daughter is an incredibly gifted painter, and the entrance hall is beautifully decorated with her art.

Very good for this money, easy to find. The owner is responsible, and the place is clean. Near the thermal bath. It was a little bit cold, as at the beginning we got only one heating radiator, but I wrote to the owner, and he got us a second one the next day (many thanks).

At the end, the owner asked for city tax, but it was already paid through Booking. I didn't pay it twice, so he acknowledged that it was already paid. Parking for 25€ per day is too expensive; we parked outside, as on weekends and holidays it's free. Someone was living right next to us behind one thin wooden door (it was closed, but we could hear everything very clearly). Overall, very good. The fridge was too small, but we didn't really cook in the apartment.

Esther!!! What a host!!! Went out of her way to make us comfortable. Changed the towels daily, made our bed daily!! So happy to stay in this beautiful home her grandfather built!! If you want more history and culture this is your place to stay!!

Little confused about the gate and how to get into the property at first.

Foarte frig in cameră am plecat la ora 02 din cauza frigului ,patului cu miros neplăcut,saltea ff proasta adică veche și tare ca și cum am fi dormit pe o scândură cu o pătură pe ea .Toaleta,chiuveta și dușul într-un dulap care îți dă o senzație puternica de claustrofobie și disconfort.Cand tragi apa la wc te sperie zgomotul.In camera o soba pe gaz sau motorina care în afară de a face zgomot nu făcea altceva. INCONFORTABILA EXPERIENTA iar peste toate astea gazda ne-a rugat sa nu furam cheia de la cameră fiind de acord a o putem fura cea de la poartă PENIBIL !!!
