It was very close to York Center. Quiet and comfortable, although no parking outside there was plenty of spaces a short walk away and was able to park outside for unpacking and packing up car , owner was helpful and polite. As a solo traveller I felt safe there, great value for money.
The room could do with some updating and looked tired, however was clean and everything worked well, bed was comfortable and very good value for money

The location was perfect! Could access most of the areas easily. Also many good food options around at walking distance. All basic facilities available

Great location to York city - easy walking distance. Warm welcome from Melissa. Clean comfortable room and as a single lone female I felt very safe

The outside looked nice and a good location
My room No. 7….looked tired and needed refreshing, the shower and toilet area far too small and inside the shower the sealant /tiles were painted over I’m guessing to hide any black mould...!!! The tv on the wall was a joke , ( screen about 8” x8” ..!) you needed binoculars the screen was that small. A full length mirror would be a good addition to the room.Investing in LARGE ( not postage stamp size.!) bathroom towels which don’t feel like sand paper when you’re drying off ..! …
