Nice and comfy room, Melissa was a very friendly and extra helpful hostess
It’s about 15min to walk to the station or the city centre, which I didn’t mind at all, but should be kept in mind for those travelling without a car

In this day of self check-in, it was nice to be greeted by a person. Melissa was welcoming and helpful. It is a bit of a walk to the centre and to the station, but I was not troubled. Good value. Also Melissa was happy for me to store my case for the morning, which again is not so easy with self check-in.
I am not a fussy traveller. Taking my case up the stairs was a good exercise!

Location was well within walking distance to Yorkminster, our main attraction to see.
Also used the 'Hop on Hop off' bus to see the city and hear some of it's history.
Restaurants, pubs and take out close by as well as Sainsbury's for any other items.
Wish we had more time as a weekend was not enough to really enjoy it all.

The outside looked nice and a good location
My room No. 7….looked tired and needed refreshing, the shower and toilet area far too small and inside the shower the sealant /tiles were painted over I’m guessing to hide any black mould...!!! The tv on the wall was a joke , ( screen about 8” x8” ..!) you needed binoculars the screen was that small. A full length mirror would be a good addition to the room.Investing in LARGE ( not postage stamp size.!) bathroom towels which don’t feel like sand paper when you’re drying off ..! …
