Great enjoyment, Superb hospitality and services, Extremely clean room

- location, exactly at the centre of town - extremely clean - superb service and hospitality of all the staff, they are so nice and observant to take care to clients including the seating plan, usage of different facilitities (thank them so much) (e.g. they were very observant and thought the group sitting next to our table may speak a bit loub and affect us, thus initiated to re-arrange table for us there and then) - wide variety of food, particularly the breakfast, and salad bar and appertisers for dinner - the alternation of dinner, we had tried formal 5 course dinner, meat fondue (i.e. similar to the chinese/japanese hotpot), grill meat dinner, rice roll and fish roll as appertiser (similar to sushi) - ski rental just next to the hotel - the wellness centre is not big but self sufficient and well aware of the need of sportsmen - the Dutch tub (hot soak bath a bit like onsen) on the roof top (for additional fee) (thanks the staff for explaining in details to make sure we can enjoy the most, and yes, we did, that was one of the highlights) - the room have lot of places for clothes, and sufficent electric sockets, window directly facing the slopes - the history and recognition of the family of the hotel can be seen from the pictures, photos, and named bus stop right outside the hotel - i personally enjoyed very much of the presentation of history of Zürs and the hotel by the family member of the hotel - i did not have the chance to try all out but there are activities schudule on everyday, including video presentations of history or skiing of Arlberg /Zürs, wine tasting, skiing with the boss....

- the mattress and pillows are a bit too soft for me (while that happens in most of my trips in Europe and Canada, simply having stiff backbone and neck) - fair ventilation of the washroom, the window with super fresh air helps

In summary, we had a magical week, a wonderful hotel, exceptional scenery and great skiing.

The Arlberghaus is a family run hotel, with exceptionally friendly staff, great food and a wonderful location. The buffet breakfasts were superb with a wide variety of hot and cold choices. The 6 course dinners were splendid with a variety of choices for the main entree. The ski lifts are very close and the whole Arlberg area is accessible from Zurs. The rooms were beautifully finished in a modern Austrian style, and the bathroom was large, up to date and spotlessly clean. The restaurant and Weinstube are delightful areas with traditional decor, and an added bonus was the many pre dinner activities hosted by the owner’s family.

A truly wonderful week

We had such a wonderful stay at the Arlberghaus - super friendly and helpful staff from start to finish, a wonderful ambience, delicious food, great attention to detail and fantastically located for skiing the whole Arlberg area. You could really tell the love the family have for running their hotel and we throughly enjoyed the extra opportunities like Herr Eggler's wine tasting and the early morning sunrise ski. Ski hire is available next door and ski passes from the desk which made it all even easier. Couldn't recommend it more and would certainly go back.

I had a wonderful stay in this hotel this winter.

The location of the hotel is right in the middle of Zürs. The ski bus stops at the hotel's door if you need to use one.. Ski in and out of the hotel option. Great accomodation, great breakfast and dinner/supper. Very friendly Staff and owners. Great atmosphere and the decor of the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel to stay in when visiting Zürs.

awesome location for skiing,

the room was small but for one person big enough, bed was comfortable. the spa and gym were great. the location is excellent. the breakfast was awesome with a good variety of food.

the only complaint I had was the evening meal was served warm not hot, I understand it’s hard to keep food hot in a buffet style but coming from the kitchen it should be hot, not warm. the last night they got it right and it was excellent.

Perfect Place in Zürs

The staff was incredibly welcoming (we thought this was because another long-term guest had let them know we were coming but it wasn't until the last day that our friends told them) so this is their standard welcome to all guests. We liked the sauna for after skiing. The food was excellent. Room was spacious and comfortable. Parking was on property. Ski rentals were across the parking lot. Everything was so easy and perfect.
