Charming historic hotel

The hotel was very conveniently located for our trip. It was easy to find with good free parking facilities on site. Although we did not need to make use of the breakfast facilities as we had other arrangements, a good breakfast was available. The hotel and town have a rich history, and brochures were available with details and an audio tour. The staff was really friendly and very helpful. Our room's door handle was loose and after we informed staff a repair was made very quickly. The beds were very comfortable, the room and bathroom clean, the shower water was instantly hot and the towels dried well. Tea and coffee were available in the room.

Realistically, there was nothing we didn't like. However, we visited during the winter, during a very cold, snowy period in the Netherlands and we found the room very draughty. Considering the building's age was to be expected. We managed this by closing the window blinds, and tucking the curtains closed around the window openings. The heating in the room was more than adequate to compensate so it was not a problem in the end. It would have been nice if the teabag and coffee pod supply were refreshed each day.

Comfortable for a short stay.lovely staff

Location was central in a village. On a busy roundabout but didn't cause a lot of noise inside. Staff was wonderful. I needed certain breakfast foods due to allergy and the lovely woman went straight out to buy it! Nice breakfast, a lot to choose Price/value was reasonable.

Room was very dated, not quite antique. Bathroom had a bathtub/shower that was a bit difficult to step into and out of. Everything was clean

Parking right next to the hotel and because of the hot weather a fan was installed in the room which we appreciated a lot.

The stairs to get up to the room were a bit narrow due to a chair lift but it made carrying our suitcases up quite difficult.

Great location - right in the centre of the town. Easy access to shops and restaurants. Lovely room, very clean and comfortable. Great staff - very kind and helpful. Very good and reliable wi-fi.

Can be a bit noisy in the evenings but the room is supplied with ear plugs.

I liked everything. Just like that. Starting from the comfortable parking, where I have managed to squeeze with a 7 m. long van and still left enough space for everyone around me. Finishing with the cozy lounge room where you can have a beer if you are too tired to cross the street for a bar. Etc.

A light in the bathroom could be brighter, No other negatives.

Spacious room in a cozy hotel at convenient location

Just as an year ago - Friendly and helpful staff provided me with a spacious double room and a bathroom, though paid for single one. All facilities worked as expected - from wifi, to warm water and warming. Enjoyed delicious thee provided for free in the room. Highly recommended place to stay!

Very cosy and pleasant.

The stuff is wonderful: is very friendly and welcoming. The hotel has improved and is looking much better.

A suggestion: I would upgrade the showers where I would add a cabin with doors instead of using drapes.
