Wonderful except debating about electricity
A lovely villa in the hills above Lucca. Great pool. The villa was clean. Good amenities.
Be aware the property will charge for electricity and also the electricity taxes which are 60% of the actual electricity cost (high??). Electricity cost was 190 Euro for 5 nights. Our confirmation from Booking.com did not make mention of extra energy charges. One of the air con units could not be switched off - so we paid for electricity usage on an item we could not turn off (we notified the Property Manager of this on day 2 - no response). When I made enquiry on this and the high energy taxes, the Property Manager could not answer these queries. I emailed them at holiday's end about this - no response. A disappointing end to the stay at the Villa.

Exceptional
Great location and property for a large group. Large rooms, great kitchen and a swimming pool. We were on a cycling holiday and this was perfect! We took advantage of the option of the local chef cooking us a meal and it was exceptional. Carolina was incredibly helpful.
Some electrics didn’t work.
