Perfect little getaway

Lovely little annex with everything we needed for a wonderful weekend away. The bed was so comfy, it's the best I've slept in a long time. We visited the local nature reserves near by and The annex was a perfect location for this. Owners really friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

Secluded Stay in Peaceful Countryside.

The setting, the peace and views. The comfortable accommodation. It was all good (we'd return). There was just 1 thing that was missing... see below.

The hob had 4 unlabelled controls. Had there been a little guide close by it wouldn't have been necessary to turn on each ring to see which heated up. Because they were the older solid metal electric hob supports, they weren't the quickest to warm up, so took a while to determine which control affected which ring.

A great base to explore from.

The annex was well decorated and the views of the sunset each evening were incredible. It was lovely and quiet and there was a fabulous pub just a short drive away that did the most amazing food. Glastonbury and the coast weren’t far away and it was good to get out and about as much as I could.

It was quite tricky to get back out onto the main road by car from the property, but I did eventually manage to find a safe-ish junction by driving a bit further through the countryside.

Comfortable rural property.

A lovely property for a few days away. Beautiful location in a rural setting. Close to lots of wildlife reserves. The owners were very helpful when we had a problem with our car & recommended where to get it fixed. We look forward to returning one day.

A great little getaway in the heart of rural Somerset

The owner was welcoming and very helpful. Everything we needed was available. The accommodation was clean and comfortable with spacious kitchen and lounge. Bedroom was very comfortable It was in a lovely area with lots of interesting visits and walks within easy reach. Good for Somerset levels, Quantocks, Bridgwater, Street, Wells and Glastonbury.

Be careful, access to A39 in both directions is difficult.

Perfect farm-stay in rural Somerset

The Annex makes the perfect base from which to visit many places of interest in this part of Somerset. The one bedroom self contained annex is comfortable, spacious, clean and being in a rural setting, blissfully quiet. The large bed is very comfortable and the shower is very efficient. The kitchen is well set up for self catering and the wifi works well. Having your own car is essential, with parking on site. Communications with the Fruit and Honey Farm were good and access on arrival was straightforward. If you’re interested in a farm-stay, this is highly recommended.

Wonderful spot to escape - will rebook

Away from everyone (except to owners who stayed out of the way) friendly and felt homely. Bed was amazing, so comfortable and the bed sheets and duvet felt so luxurious. Wanted to stay in bed all day.

Nothing. Yes there were some noise issues due to the annex being attached to the main house. It wasn't the owners but house sounds (hinges on doors and the dog) Was a little disappointed that there was no milk or bread left considering the remote location. However would stay again!!!!

Everything had been considered for the guests' comfort. Self contained and self catering. Heated. Peaceful. Surrounded by countryside. Excellent value for money.

Perfect!

I’ve been itching to write this review since the moment I got to the property! The most peaceful location and stunning views. The accommodation was bigger than it looked in the pictures and equipped with everything you could need. Even though my partner couldn’t come properly until halfway through the stay, being out there alone was beautiful. The owners were away but everything was ready when I got there and had no problems whatsoever. I had a lovely visit from their 2 small and very well behaved dogs that I very much welcomed! I honestly cannot fault this property and I didn’t want to leave! I can’t wait to return there again; most likely for an extra night or 2 this time!

Wonderful few days away

The annex was really perfect for us and had everything we needed for our few nights away. It was very comfortable, clean and ideally located to explore the area. It was lovely and quiet and loved that we were able to sit out on the patio enjoying the sunset. The kitchen was well equipped with an oven and hob, a microwave and a fridge. Free WiFi worked well.
