Artlovers' flat - Kazinczy street

Ideally located spacious apartment within the restaurant & bar area, yet very quiet. Groceries & bakery within a couple of minutes. Within a 10 minute walk to the metro to visit major attractions

Tout était parfait. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et accessible. Il a répondu à toutes nos interrogations et a envoyé des descriptifs très détaillés pour nous aider lors de notre séjour. L'appartement est très bien situé. Aux premiers abords, la rue est très animée et bruyante, mais l'appartement donnant de l'autre côté sur une petite cour, il est très calme et insonorisé. L'immeuble a son charme de l'ancien avec une petite cour à traverser. Très bien situé, nous avons pu découvrir une bonne partie de la ville à pied, depuis l'appartement. Enfin, le logement est parfaitement équipé (sèche-cheveux, machine à laver,etc). Mention spéciale pour la grande bibliothèque que nous avons adoré. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et reviendrons à cette adresse sans hésiter, si l'opportunité de revenir à Budapest se présente de nouveau à nous.

The apt had a nice character and was perfectly located. Access to a big food market and Szimpla Kert literally on your door step but still very quiet and calm for a good night sleep.

Overall the building was old and not well maintained in terms of the stairwell or entrance and the kitchen was a tac too small.

The location was excellent, and we were able to walk to everything we wanted to see. The beds were comfortable and my two teenage children enjoyed having the ability to sleep in separate beds with one of them sleeping in the loft and one of them sleeping on the sofa bed.

The actual building is very grimy and rundown. It was very difficult to find the actual unit as the instructions are not very clear. You have to find a lockbox on the door out of many other doors and hallways and staircases in the building. I’m not sure how you would’ve gotten in the front door of the building if somebody hadn’t been coming out and let us in, because you need to get the key from the lockbox first, which is inside the main buildings entrance. Without having air-conditioning, you want to leave the windows open, but at the same time, your windows are not private, and people can walk past your windows all night long so we didn’t feel safe, leaving them open at night or when we were out of the unit. The fan in the library room barely kept the two children, cool enough, and the tiny fan for the main bedroom only cooled the person on the side of the bed next to the fan. It would be much more suitable for a couple who uses the library has more a living room because otherwise there’s nowhere for people to sit if the sofa is being used as a bed. There was also the flat pillows I have ever seen, and I ended up having to use my duvet under my head as a pillow, just so I could sleep properly. Property, while fairly Klean did feel a bit rundown as Furniture just seemed to worn out. But for the price we paid I guess it was acceptable and like I said, the location is good.
