Artlovers' flat - Kazinczy street

The apartment is in an excellent location. There are grocery stores, restaurants, and a metro station nearby, and most of the city’s main attractions are within a 20–30 minute walk. The apartment features a unique artistic interior, the beds are very comfortable, and it is exceptionally quiet despite being located on a busy and lively street. The host was very friendly, helpful, and responsive throughout our stay. We only have two minor suggestions for improvement: 1. The toilet seat and lid should be properly secured, as they kept moving out of place. 2. The shower could be improved, as the shower head holder was broken, making it difficult to keep the shower head in position while showering.

The apartment is super centric and it is a hidden gem in Budapest. There is everything you need inside the apartment at it has a really nice charm on how it is decorated.

The location was excellent, and we were able to walk to everything we wanted to see. The beds were comfortable and my two teenage children enjoyed having the ability to sleep in separate beds with one of them sleeping in the loft and one of them sleeping on the sofa bed.

The actual building is very grimy and rundown. It was very difficult to find the actual unit as the instructions are not very clear. You have to find a lockbox on the door out of many other doors and hallways and staircases in the building. I’m not sure how you would’ve gotten in the front door of the building if somebody hadn’t been coming out and let us in, because you need to get the key from the lockbox first, which is inside the main buildings entrance. Without having air-conditioning, you want to leave the windows open, but at the same time, your windows are not private, and people can walk past your windows all night long so we didn’t feel safe, leaving them open at night or when we were out of the unit. The fan in the library room barely kept the two children, cool enough, and the tiny fan for the main bedroom only cooled the person on the side of the bed next to the fan. It would be much more suitable for a couple who uses the library has more a living room because otherwise there’s nowhere for people to sit if the sofa is being used as a bed. There was also the flat pillows I have ever seen, and I ended up having to use my duvet under my head as a pillow, just so I could sleep properly. Property, while fairly Klean did feel a bit rundown as Furniture just seemed to worn out. But for the price we paid I guess it was acceptable and like I said, the location is good.
