    Rooms were great, staff was very friendly and helpful whenever we needed help. My online gripe would be no microwave in the hotel room but that's a very small inconvenience as the microwave was easily accessible near the laundry in the lobby.

    Stayed here a few nights and it was one of the better cheaper hotels I’ve stayed at. Air conditioning in the room worked. Beds were just okay. It’s small room with not much room to put stuff. There’s only one washer for the hotel, but I luckily was able to do a quick load around 7pm without waiting. The downstairs can sometimes smell a bit like tobacco smoke as there is a smoking room near the lobby. It wasn’t overwhelming but it’s a smell that came up a few times. Super close to Kyoto station so it made travel around the city easy.
