Sandpiper, apartment across from the beach

The location, coziness, availability of an electric heater, decor, a comfortable sofa, lighting, great shower with constant hot water, lots of utensils.

Could not sit outside because the sitting area (decking) was not clean. Neither was the bench clean.

Perfect location, clean and tidy interior, comfortable bed, good shower.

The outside area was very untidy, lots of weeds through the paving. The decking was in need of a good clean and would have looked better if the leaves etc had been swept up.

Nice modern place, easy to navigate to the location, tight but available parking, comfy bed and privacy all the way through our stay. Kitchen had everything we needed, nice little space outside to smoke or rest in the evening. Close to the beach, shops are 5 min drive if you need any.

Location is perfect. The kitchen had condiments and coffee which was lovely. Decent sized fridge for such a small kitchen. The bedroom is a good size and large comfy bed. Lovely hot shower and the bathroom is laid out as well as it can be in such a small space. Overall a tidy, reasonably comfy apartment.

As someone with mild arthritis in the fingers of both hands i struggled to open the kitchen cupboards and drawers as there were no handles. I found the hob difficult to use as it requires you to press firmly on a flat surface to activate the hob rings and again this was challenging for me. its a minor thing which I did not have an issue with on my previous visit, but will prevent me coming again as it caused me a lot of pain to prepare my meals. The apartment is ground floor and one side faces the car park and therefore I kept those blinds shut. The other side faces a private courtyard which can only be accessed via a tall gate, private to Sandpiper. I assumed that it was safe to have the blinds up on that side as I wanted the widow open and some air flow as its still quite warm. I did not expect to be having a lay in on my first morning and see a workman appear inside the courtyard at 8.45 to do some work on the inside of the boundary walls while I was still laying in bed. He was only there for about 30 minutes and by the time i had showered and dressed, (with the blinds firmly down might I add) he had gone, but he was back again at 8.45 the next day as well. When i spoke to him on the second day he was lovely and accommodating and agreed to wait to do the work in that small area until after my visit but he did tell me that all of the units had been advised that he would be there all week so it would have been nice to have been warned about that prior to my stay. There was no numbered waste bin, which was supposed to be outside under the staircase to the upper apartment, I ended up taking my whole rubbish bag away with me as there was nowhere to put it!
