A wonderful break at a quiet time of year, a beautiful part of Cornwall to explore.

Beautiful cottage stunning location, would book again

Beautiful cottage with period features, kitchen had all utensils etc. Great location. Good size tv and book case with lots of books / games to use. Lots of storage so could pack luggage away. Bed Linen very good quality. Mirrors for dressing table area as well as full size mirrors. Lovely welcome of scones with clotted cream and jam, along with milk and a selection of things ready stocked. Mattress in master bedroom was hard which I struggled with but others of my party liked. Lovely outside sitting area along with washing line. Nearby parking. Documentation and welcome info was very thorough and helpful. Has dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.

The shower head was secured onto the hose with tape, and so would slip and the head would fall down. Also is an electric shower and not very powerful.

Perfect stay for a family or friends.

The cottage was located in a very quiet area. There was everything you needed in the house(fridge,washing machine,freezer). It was very cozy and clean. The small garden area was perfect for the evenings.

Lovely cottage, very nice little details left from owners, a lot of character

Not as clean as expected (spider webs, dust, stale smell), no direct access to parking or real "garden" (went with a dog), parking was very difficult (tiny alley), heating semi adjustable (couldn't get much heat when needed), fireplace not working (producing only a bit if heat no "fire"; big reason we picked this was for the fireplace so such a shame it was not operational).

We loved staying in Marazion as a central stay close to all attractions of south west Cornwall.

Excellent location close to St Michael's Mount. There are shops nearby and the beach is only a short walk. It is also close to bus stops for travel.

Be aware that the parking access is very tight so large vehicles will struggle. Free parking is a 10 minute walk away.

We had a fabulous stay in charming cottage set in a beautiful location.

Beautiful character filled cottage. Loved the view of St Michael’s mount from the bedroom window and hearing the waves and seeing the sea from the garden. Cosy, comfortable, well equipped cottage in a fabulous location

Peaceful 😌 place with a lovely view

Peter was incredibly helpful and detailed in his instructions, which made everything so straightforward. The facilities were absolutely perfect, and we had a brilliant time—the cottage was ideal for our group of three adults, a baby, and two dogs. It truly felt like a home away from home!

The only difficulty we faced was navigating the narrow passage through the parking space. However, it served as a preview of the tight lanes in the area, and by the end of our stay, we had become much more confident in handling them.

Lovely lovely stay in a great location! Great hosts and great cottage!

Really great location, extremely clean and homely. I loved all the little touches to make you feel more at home, like plenty of tea for your stay, scones and jam! Even down to the lamps being on when we arrived which was really sweet!

The parking is super tight, we had to shunt my Audi Q5 down the Lane. I wouldn’t recommend anything larger than a Q5 and would definitely recommend two of you to navigate a larger car. The outdoor light didn’t seem to work either, or the bulb was gone, this would’ve been helpful.

Cosy, tucked away but within easy walk of everything. We loved it!

Quirky but roomy living space with comfortable furniture and a homey atmosphere. Main bedroom is large and beautiful too with a view over roofs of the Mount. Loved the little courtyard space too.

Getting into parking area not so easy with a larger vehicle but that was well explained up front. The 24 hr car park in the town was fine once unloaded anyway.

Short family break- just perfect.

Lovely decor, very Cornish. Cosy with everything for a proper bit of chill. Will find time to go again before too long. A really special stay. Pub food in the Fire Station bang on!

Our stay was relaxing and enjoyable and lived up to our expectations.

The location, near the village centre, and the cottage was generally very clean and comfortable, especially the main living room. There was also plenty of detailed information about the property and nearby facilities.

The only drawback was parking, which, in a large car we found to be very difficult. In fairness, this was clearly indicated in information about the cottage at the time of booking and we came knowing it could be a problem. So this is not in any way a criticism of Peter and Sally.

Such a lovely Cornish cottage, very welcoming hosts and a great location for a getaway!

Had a wonderful few days staying at this lovely Cornish cottage. We felt relaxed as soon as we walked through the door and it was so cosy and nice to return to after a busy and long day exploring. The cottage has one of the most comfortable and cloud-like beds I've ever slept in! Thank you to Peter and Sally for being such great hosts, we very much appreciated the thoughtful welcoming touches and I was very grateful for all the advice Peter provided prior to our stay which was so helpful. The cottage is located in a great location in Marazion from which to explore even if you don't have a car and we just used the local buses, coastal buses and our legs! Would love to return to this delightful Cornish cottage at some point! :-)

The location was ideal for both the beaches and shops. Lovely homely cottage which was very clean , comfortable and provided all of the facilities we needed. Dog friendly. Welcome scones with jam and cream - tea, coffee and milk very thoughtful.

Fantastic hosts, cottage and location.

Could not fault the hosts, the accommodation or the location. Fantastic location to explore Marazion and surrounding areas. We stayed here for 4 nights and were really happy there. The cottage had everything we needed and more. The cottage had a selection of games, books and the WiFi was brilliant. It was very much a home away from home. My two young children, 3 and 4, loved the place.

It’s location is convenient for the beach. the beds were comfortable.

The living room was chilly in the evenings, possibly because there are no doors to prevent the heat escaping up the stairs. Some spare blankets would have been handy.

parking is tricky but not impossible. we chose to park elsewhere most of the time. wasn’t a problem and wouldn’t put us off staying!

Plus and minus points to this stay

Spacious interior, nice kitchen and upstairs area. Lovely crisp, clean bedding. Great location. Five minutes walk to the pub and 15 minutes walk to the beach. Dog friendly beach after August.

Parking site, as stated down a very narrow passage. Yes we scraped our car quite badly and dare not move it again until we left. Unless you have a very small car don’t attempt it. We saw another couple scrape theirs too. You can park in the village car parks £90 a week. Definitely would have been cheaper than our repair will cost. The access through the cottage garden was an absolute nuisance too. There are three or four cottages that have this access and it was constant, coming and going. We had a small dog, one of them had two large dogs, our was always barking at them. Couldn’t sit out in peace. I hate spiders, there were three big dusty old webs in the lounge. Two in the fireplace and one from the sofa to the bookcase which completely put me off the lounge. It also needs making cozy. The lounge smells a little damp. It cried out for a log burner or at least a nice electric fire that impersonates a flame, the current one doesn’t although it goes pump out warm air rather noisily. No glasses there for a nice long gin and tonic. Pint glasses , small wine glasses and tiny tumblers but not big enough for a shot and a can of mixer. We bought ourselves two and no ice compartment in the kitchen fridge so you have to go outside to the outhouse to the freezer each time you top up.

The cottage was lovely and had everrything we needed for our stay. The location was amazing just a short walk to the beach, pubs and St Michaels Mount. I would highly recomend this propoerty. The Owners kept in contact with us prior to our visit and put in some wonderful touches for our arrival.

Beautiful, cozy cottage near St Michael’s Mount

Tucked down a little lane this lovely spacious cottage is located right near St Michael’s and four great pubs/restaurant. It has parking for one car nearby 200m It has a lovely outside courtyard and summerhouse for a relaxing alfresco dining or a drink or two Clean tidy with everything that you need for an enjoyable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen. Spacious master bedroom with vaulted ceiling’s and a comfy bed. Thoughtful touches or flowers, milk, scones, jam and cream was a lovely surprise. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for a lovely stay

Seagulls love life above us at 4:30am ! Hahah but you kind of expect that so close to the gorgeous sea.
