Perhaps the things people comment on in the reviews have now been fixed? The dining chairs do not need replacing. The patio door opened perfectly. The toilet flushed easily. The toilet seat was fine. The freezer was not blocked with ice.
There is no need for fencing between properties as has been suggested. The open-ness of the land in front of the cottages gives it the fabulous views and spaciousness. If your dogs constantly run away then this is probably not the place for you. The cottages are slightly dated but very clean and in an amazing position. Bus stop to Penzance and Marazion close by. Marazion is a good 15/20 minutes walk.
The Surf Club-a former pub-has reopened and offers a great variety of food and drinks and is only 50 yards away-never any noise from it. Two other smaller cafes close by. Good parking.
The shower cubicle tray needs some attention, with loose tiles and its a bit grubby.. The wooden picnic bench is a bit wobbly and will not support a family trying to eat from it, but fine for a couple.

Everything was great, the property was perfect and very clean. No wifi but that was refreshing. The only issue was that there was no baby cot and we couldn’t get a hold of anyone (it had said there was one on the listing). Plenty of towels and blankets, excellent location, overall a very lovely stay

Fantastic location, walking distance to Penzance as well as flat route for running. Also, the castle was within easy walking distance, not to mention the sea & beach were literally outside the cottage.
It was not warm enough but because it was supposed to be summer we were reluctant to put the heating oon and got blankets out of our car.Not enough warm blankets, there was a shed with extra items but the cleanliness in there was somewhat dubious and was reluctant to get any linen from there. The shower taps were really hard to turn but the pressure made up for all that effort to turning it on

Very close to beach and train tracks
Hot water does last long. 2 nights I have to shower soap off me in cold water!
