This detached cottage is located in the village of Youlgreave near Bakewell and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.
Jasmine Cottage is a detached cottage located in the village of Youlgreave in Peak District National Park. Hosting two bedrooms; a double, and a twin, along with a family bathroom, this property can sleep up to four people. Inside you will also find a cloakroom, kitchen/diner, utility, and a sitting room with woodburner. To the outside is roadside parking and an enclosed patio with furniture. Located in a delightful setting and close to places of interest, Jasmine Cottage is a wonderful retreat in a memorable part of England.
Amenities: Gas central heating.. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, TV with Freeview and Firestick, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power included in the rent . No starter pack provided for woodburer, but can be purchased locally. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Roadside parking. Enclosed rear patio and furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 3 mins, pub 2 mins walk. Note: There is no handrail on the stairs. Note: Parking and unloading may be difficult due to parking being roadside.

It was once the centre of the lead mining industry but is now a tourist destination. The village has three public houses, two shops, a post office and a medieval church with some parts dating back to the 13th and 14th Centuries. The market town of Bakewell is nearby and has a wide selection of shops and eateries along with its Monday market.

A pleasant relaxing short break

This was a bigger property than we usually stay in, which was a treat as we could spread out. It was a comfortable and practical base for our walking holiday. Youlgreave is the perfect spot for exploring such a beautiful part of the countryside.

Jasmine cottage was a little tucked away but a nice quiet location. Youlgrave is a lovely village with great pubs, coffee shop, village sjop and bakery. Great place to stay. Parking is tricky but there is a public car park up the road. Heating was very tricky. We had to override the system everyday to get any heating. Owner was away, out of country so no help with it as didn't get my message until the next day.
