With an open floor plan and a well-stocked kitchen meal prep will be super easy and extremely social. Perfectly situated between Thomas/Davis and Dolly Sods and Elkins, this home provides a quiet, relaxing base for all of your mountain activities. Can't say enough about the furnishings, beds and linens, fireplace, gas stove, washer and dryer, dishwasher, view from the porch and two and 1/2 baths! The kitchen is well provisioned - you should bring your own lotions and shower gel, paper products, cooking oils and seasonings. The golf course at Canaan Valley is challenging but great - walking or with cart! Many excellent restaurants nearby include Sirianni's in Davis for their pizza, The FORK in Elkins, Farm up Table in Thomas and countless others in the local area. If you ski, CR Mountain Home is located right next to Timberline. Donna and her crew at Best of Canaan have brochures to guide you to attractions and will send you 10 pages of things to do in the local area. Highly recommend Mountain Rail WV excursions -- the New Tygart Flyer and Cass Scenic Railroad. SO much to do, SO little time!! Enjoy!
