The cottage is situated in a very quiet area not faraway from Amboise. It has all the facilities someone would need for a comfortable stay. Josephine is the best hostess and the place is pristinely clean. The cottage has a small backyard with a table and chairs to sit and enjoy your meal or just to have a rest with a glass of wine. There is a possibility to park your car in a safe spot just in front of the gate.We can highly recommend the cottage to everyone who is looking for a peaceful place to relax after visiting the castles in the Loire Valley area. The only challenge which people may have is that the bedroom is upstairs and it could be a bit difficult for someone who has mobility issues.

Our January stay at Josephine's place was perfect. Anyone who has driven in France knows that parking can be a source of stress, so it was lovely to arrive and find we had a dedicated (and spacious) parking spot just steps from the door to our suite. We arrived on a rainy January afternoon and were thrilled to find how cozy and warm the suite was. It had everything we needed for our four-night stay. It is located right on the edge of Amboise, so feels nice and rural, but is within easy walking distance of the centre of town and the Chateau Amboise, as well as good walking trails along the Loire River. Josephine greeted us warmly and made us feel very welcome. She even gave us a lovely bottle of wine to start our visit. We highly recommend staying at her wonderful VRBO suite if you are visiting Amboise. Diane and Brad Culling, British Columbia, Canada

We had our dog with us and excellent walking available about 200 yards from house off lead. Small enclosed garden which was great for the dog and for sitting and eating outside. Josephine welcomed us and the rooms were clean and very tidy. All in all a great experience and value for money

Csak pozitívumokat tudok írni, semmi kifogás nem merült fel, ár-érték arány verhetetlen, bátran tudom ajánlani két fő részére mindenkinek, nem okoz csalódást, fantasztikus időtöltést és szép emlékeket ígér!

The cottage was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, complete with a nice garden area to relax in. Our host Josephine was the best, she was very friendly and helpful, lending us bicycles and even driving us to Tours when it was time to leave. This is a lovely little cottage not to far from Amboise. Well equipped: rainshower, fridge, 2 heater induction stove, laundry machine, etc... Only downside is the bed, it’s a little on the small for two larger adults. In general a lovely cottage.

Une petite maison avec un petit jardin clos super sympa, agréable pour un couple avec un petit chien. Très bien équipée et dégageant de bonnes vibrations. Le calme de la campagne en périphérie proche d'Amboise et pas très loin de Tours. La sympathique Joséphine était là pour nous accueillir et nous présenter le logement. Une adresse que je garde en mémoire pour une prochaine fois sans la moindre réserve !

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans ce petit gîte, parfait pour 2 personnes. Très bien aménagé, très propre, calme, idéalement situé pour de jolies visites alentours. Point supplémentaire d'importance, les chiens sont acceptés, cet hébergement est en effet pourvu d'une petite cour bien clôturée. Nous le recommandons chaleureusement. Merci à notre très sympathique hôtesse.

Gîte très agréable, bien équipé et proche en voiture du centre d'Amboise tout en étant au calme. A noter la chambre peut devenir trop chaude l'été, il faut penser à fermer le velux et le store la journée !
