Olvini Villa

We had a wonderful stay at Olvinni Villa and truly enjoyed everything about it. The villa is very spacious, spotlessly clean and has all the facilities you could need for a comfortable holiday. The kids absolutely loved the pool, which was definitely one of the highlights of our stay! We also really appreciated the thoughtful welcome on our first day – cold water, delicious fresh fruit, wine, coffee and a Nespresso machine (a big YES from us! ☺️). The location is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by olive trees, while still being very close to lovely beaches and great local tavernas. Everything was very well taken care of and we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. We would happily stay here again and definitely recommend Olvinni Villa, especially for families or groups travelling together!

The Villa is split into two homes, top half has 3 bedrooms and its own entry through the stairs from outside. The bottom you enter through the back of the garden by the pool. It's great if you're several families with children to split up. It was great for us as two families with 2 babies each. The villa is very big and spacious with unique decor. Personally I wasn't a fan of the open showers and no privacy in the bathrooms. The bathrooms are inside the rooms and not a separate entity with a door. Having small children the shower hoses didn't hang up, had to hold them and wash. It was very difficult with the children. The house was well equipped with a full fridge given by the hosts which was lovely as we arrived late and didn't need to stop at a super market. Great hospitality from the owners. Great communication whenever we needed anything. Lots of little details included to make your stay memorable and comfortable without having to buy or bring stuff. Pool floats and toys available. Ice bags to make ice. Children's cutlery, cots and high chairs all available when we requested them. The pool was actually very warm and lovely to swim in. We didn't need it heated and it was amazing. The beds and pillows super comfortable.

Be prepared to live with wild life. The location is surrounded by nature and lots of wild life. I would say it's not for everyone but not something that put us off completely. Whenever we needed help it was resolved. I'd say that little design details in the house made it a bit unsafe for the children, small steps around the pool. The steps down the garden. Obviously the house wasn't built for the safety of children but just an observation. We were on edge a lot of the time as our little ones kept tripping. The location of the villa itself the road it sits on is a bit skinny and in a dark hidden area/road. The way that Waze directs you is off road. But the views I guess are worth it for where this place is hidden. Not really walking distance from anything. Had to drive to go anywhere. So I'd recommend a car. The only villa/hotel I've been too that didn't have duvets. It was very weird all the beds were bare. We had to hunt and found blankets in the cupboard. Sheets where left on the side. Which we used two to wrap the blankets we found. It wasn't comfortable as the sheets would move around and blanket is heavy. It was just messy. A duvet for each bed is what's needed. Only a sheet with AC is a little crazy.

Anastasia was very lovely and helpful whenever we needed her .there was a welcome package and fruits was a lovely gesture which we appreciated. Loved the pool and location and outside seating .the beds were very comfortable to sleep and the quiet location was perfect .

I guess i have misread the description on the booking that the villa had not an internal staircase and it made it a bit complicated with two kitchens we have almost. Ever used the upstairs living area because of the separation ! Also the en-suites had no doors . The shower had in every bathroom had no bracket what made showering not easy . The WiFi did actually never worked so we ended up using a roaming . Also having the washing machine inside the top floor bedroom didn’t make sense to me .
