What a beautiful and tranquil place. Stunning views and an incredible host. Piero was so kind and accommodating. He was so thoughtful with little touches that made us feel at home.

Our stay was an absolute joy, the suite was perfect, it was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Its country location made it peaceful and quiet. The best part of the stay was Guiseppe, he is a wonderful host, he is generous, helpful and truly caring. When we arrived there was freshly baked fruit flan waiting for us. When I came down with a stomach bug he called his doctor and picked up medication for me. On the last night he brought us freshly made anti pasta and when we wanted to bake pizza in his wood burning pizza oven he eagerly started the fire and walked us through the whole process step by step, the pizzas were excellent.We will definitely return on our next tour of Italy!

We met Piero at the apartment, and he made us feel welcomed right from the start. He showed us around the apartment to make sure we would be comfortable along with leaving us with some goodies in the kitchen. The main floor has the living area and kitchen, and upstairs are the bedrooms. The apartment was very clean and there are full bathrooms on both floors, that was very convenient. The outside has a large backyard and views of the hills. There are a couple of covered patio areas with plenty of tables and chairs and a small basketball court. There are sites to see in Bologna and then nice to come back to a quiet and relaxing apartment. We really enjoyed our stay and wished we were there longer than 2 days and would like to return the next time we are in this area.

We loved our stay with Pier. He’s super sweet and allowed us to use his pizza oven one evening for dinner. He made us a small breakfast every morning. His house is a typical Italian house so Americans need to set their expectations accordingly. The views are amazing but make sure you go during daylight as the road up the mountain can be tricky if you are not used to it. Thank you Pier!
