Etno selo Smrčevo brdo

Great location, fantastic hosts and good breakfast. We had a great time.

I wish we were in the separate little house and not in the big house. You can hear the neighbors downstairs, and we had to be extra careful upstairs so that we were not too loud. That made us feel less relaxed.

We were warmly welcomed at "Etno Selo Smrcevo Brdo" and the wooden cabin was super clean and incredibly cozy. The warm orange lighting really added to the comfortable atmosphere, and we slept exceptionally well upstairs. The hosts were very friendly. The location is excellent, with many attractions within easy reach, and there are plenty of parking spaces available right in front of the property. Žabljak is only a 10-minute drive away. If it gets cold, the cabin heats up perfectly - the heating worked incredibly well, and there is also an air conditioning unit upstairs. The views, including the starlit sky at night, were absolutely breathtaking. Please note: At the end of our booking photos, we uploaded pictures of the accommodation. To give you a glimpse of the surrounding area, I've also added some nature photos that should help you find suitable tours and only indirectly relate to the accommodation, but are still helpful. Further on, you'll find more accommodation photos. All photos in this review were taken by ourselves. The veranda is perfect for having breakfast, dinner, or just relaxing, and there is even a small drying rack outside for a few clothes. The reception was well-staffed, and communication was smooth and completely hassle-free! Even though it wasn't the cheapest accommodation on our trip, the price is fully justified and it was definitely worth it! Payment in Euros in Cash at the reception. Price great - worth every penny! From the cabin, you can easily reach Black Lake as well as two other nearby lakes (we did Three Lakes Loop). It is also a great starting point to head toward Prutaš Peak and enjoy the scenic panoramic road nearby. If you have time left: Devils Lake, Bukovika Waterfal, Podmalinsko Monastery, Crnjak Bijela Waterfall (small quiet spots, but harder to find).
