Do not recommend.

We didnt get one of the wooden cottages. We got stuffed in an old cold farm house. The cancel all booking.com bookings so the its never fully booked, but then when you arrive you realize they are fully booked and you get the shitty accomodation. Very unpleasant experience.

Incredible - a truly special experience.

Everything - the most gorgeous cosy hut, with a beautiful terrace and views. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful - constantly providing us with anything and everything we needed, offering us drinks, helping us with the bbq facilities and even planning our itinerary and pinning locations on maps for us. Fantastic home cooked breakfast too and huge portions. This was the best start possible to our trip and I couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Absolutely nothing - everything was so perfect. The mosquitoes were the only downside but the staff provided us with repellent which kept them at bay.

The staff is extremely helpful and welcoming, they waited for us and accommodated every need. It was all five star experience. There is hot water with good pressure. The breakfast is also amazing and worth every cent. Don’t even hesitate to book!

Great location and lovely set up

Lovely location and close to all experiences in the national park. Really lovely set up with useful facilities. Comfy bed. Dark skies and stars were amazing.

Couldn’t speak to anyone in person in English about what to do around the area and didn’t know where to find them in the evening if they weren’t at reception before 8pm closure. Front houses have noise from the main road. That said it is quiet overnight and with windows shut.

Comfort in a stunning location!

The Etno Selo is in a beautiful location a bit out of town (you’d need a car or taxi to get to Zablak proper) with gorgeous views of the mountains from each cabin. Great access to the national park by car or bicycle. The cabins are comfortable and modern with a small kitchen and cooking utensils. Breakfast was provided for a fee and was delicious. The team was very hospitable and made sure we had everything we needed- thanks for the kindness!

Beautiful scenery, easy to find off the main road but still feels very remote, hosts were exceptionally welcoming and made you feel like family.

Comforting stay in the mountains with friendly staff.

- Milli was very kind and welcoming, greeted us as if we were old friends. He ensured that we had everything we needed and that we weren't missing anything, and showed us how to use everything. - Even though they did not offer dinner options, they still made us a salad for one night as it was too late to go to any supermarket; very kind and happy to help. - The chalet was a lovely design, and the location was beautiful. It was really relaxing and comforting. - there was hot water ready for us when we arrived. - The kitchen was well equipped, there was even cooking oil. However, we did not know how to use the electric stove; we weren't sure if there was an error, but this was fine as we were only staying one night.

We regretted not staying longer than one night, and hope to return!

Worn out beds, mice visits at night, bad value

The location is great

The beds are worn out. But worse was that there was a mouse in the kitchen that repeatedly woke us up during the night because it would go though our stuff on the tables and kitchen counters. A health hazard. I also had the feeling that foreigners were treated better than people who speak the language, so that was disappointing, too. Overall we found it’s too expensive for what it is.

These spacious little houses are a pleasure to stay it. It is also great for children. The kitchen had all you need. To get to the supermarket, a car is needed.

Really cute huts in a beautiful setting whatever the weather.

Not a negative just a comment in that when we arrived and were asked if we wanted breakfast we didn't realise that they were just asking about the following day and not the whole stay, so best to confirm the day before for each day.

Magical stay

It was an exceptional stay. For sure the hotel is in the middle of no where but this is actually what made this place so special. The host is super nice and gave us a million hints on what to do. They welcomed us with coffee and cake. The breakfast at the small terrace was super nice! Sleeping in this little cottages is super cozy and comfortable. The sky is full of stars and the place is just great! There is nothing we could complain about!

Nice cozy chalets near Zabljak center. Milli and his team were very nice and helpful giving very good tips on what to do and to see in this beautiful part of Montenegro. We woke up at 3 in the morning by a horse scratching his butt on our roof - 10/10 would recommend. ;) Thank you very much to make our stay as beautiful as it was. Cheers!

We had a brilliant stay and the hosts were excellent!

The breakfast was delicious and MASSIVE and the location was brilliant for exploring Durmitor. We both slept really well at the property and the facilities were great. We really felt very welcomed by the hosts who were super friendly. Will definitely recommend to friends!

The only thing to say that was negative is that would have been better is if we had known in advance that it was cash only for the payment, but that was a very minor thing as there was a cashpoint a short drive away.
