About this house rental

A 5 minute stroll takes you to the village and the calm waters of Te Kopua Beach - popular for swimming, kayaking and family picnics - complete with skate park and innovative childrens' playground. The number of sought after cafes and restaurants will have you spoilt for choice. Walk further on down the road to the Silos and enjoy the famous fresh fish and chips on the wharf.

It is just a 5km drive to Ocean Beach or approx 8km to Whale Bay and Manu Bay - world famous surf break. Be there for the surf carnivals and the music events.

This lovely old character home offers comfortable spacious living and dining - with great indoor outdoor flow for al fresco dining or playing with the kids on the back lawn.
Plenty of options for sleeping arrangements:
- master bedroom has a queen bed
- second bedroom can either be 2 single beds or made up as king
- third bedroom has bunk bed

Guests to bring own bed linen ( sheets and pillow slips ) and towels. Duvets and blankets are provided.
Should linen be required please enquire - there would be an additional fee charged.

Easy drive on level access.

House was exactly as described and perfectly located - 2 mins walk to town (although you would not know that). Easy walk to the wharf. Outside hoses to wash sandy feet and togs. Lovely deck at the back which got a lot of sun. The most comfortable bed we have slept on in a Bookabach. Thanks!

lovely place to stay with cleaner who comes every week and does a great job changing the bed clothes and towels and making the place spotless and a washing machine to wash your clothes instead of taking a lot of dirty washing home with you i would recommend you book this lovely bungalow

We stayed for 24 days and it was great. The bungalow was spotless and the cleaner came twice and made everything shine. The garden at the back caught the sun from morning until nightfall Inside there was a washing machine, a television with loads of channels to chose from , a hot shower and a lovely kitchen. No issues with the property - it's a very comfortable house (sleeps 6 but we were just 2) with pleasant deck to enjoy the sun. Landlord was very prompt to respond to and resolve our "emergency" (of locking ourselves out!), and otherwise very helpful. Loved being so close to all the cafes on Bow Street etc and also it was a pleasant walk to the Wharf (cafe and for the boat cruise) in the evening.

Phil was very good to communicate with. Allowed us to check out late when we had to cancel one night for unforseen circumstances. It’s an original weatherboard old building but comfortable and clean.

We have stayed here a number of times, we just love staying here! It’s so close to walk to the shops and estuary. We can hear the bands from the pub which doesn’t bother us. The deck out the back is perfect to sit in the sun. The whole house is comfortable. Philip is very friendly and easy to communicate with. We have never had any hassles here. We think this is the best bach!

The bach was carefully thought out and the décor made us feel relaxed and at the beach. Again, perfect location with easy access to town. We walked everywhere and didn't think twice about popping into town.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the property. The location was great and the property definitely has character and charm. It may have been a little while since someone stayed there before us as there were a few cobwebs, but nothing to really worry us. Would recommend.
