The duplex was perfect for our large family. We rented East and West and it was perfect. It is tastefully decorated and the perfect location. In the past we have rented two condos. We had to be very watchful with the kids going back and forth. This was perfect. We didn’t have to worry about the kids. Everyone had their own space.
Close to the beach and not a lot of steps which was perfect for those of us that struggle with steps. We have already reserved for next year. Owner very easy to work with and quick to respond.

The house is very comfortable what we like the most is that it is in front of the beach the bathrooms are remodeled as well as the kitchen and the sofas in the living room. I recommend it to you.

It’s not often that I get my family from Massachusetts and Charlotte together to just enjoy our time together. Dune Castle East provided us the perfect place to do just that.
This isn’t the first time we stayed at Dune Castle East and hopefully we can do it again next year.
Owner did a great job renovating - especially enjoyed the walk-in shower!
Perfectly located vacation spot.

This house offered an excellent location on the beach. This is a less crowded area of Emerald Isle. The house was very roomy. Furniture in living area and kitchen were newer. I enjoyed the artwork throughout the house. The house offered granite countertops throughout. Shower enclosures were ok but definitely not maintained. Kitchen was missing steak knives and could use a good drawer cleaning. The deck was very large but in need of repair and could use a hose to wash off the sand. The propane grill on the deck was unusual but it did work. The under the house showers could be awesome but they are in need of an update. I would not use them. Definitely a reasonable priced house for a large family especially if you rent both sides. There is very much potentail here.
