About this house rental
Have fun with the whole family at The Oceans Oyster! This beachhouse is on the sound w/views of the water and only a 5 min walk to the beach. The spacious home with 3 king bedrooms, 3 baths, large bonus area w/ sleeper sofa & kids twin bunks is perfect for families/friends to relax together & entertain! With 3 decks, a hot tub & outdoor shower this is a perfect beach getaway! Enjoy the fenced in yard, tons of parking plus a two car garage! Pet friendly and sleeps 10! Come make some memories.
Where you will sleep:
The Master bedroom is on the main level with large closet and its own bath. Here you will have a king bed, large smart tv with tons of storage. The secondary Bedrooms are on the top level of the home, with sound views, And both have large closets, one has a huge walk in closet, big enough for a pack and play. Both rooms have a King bed with large smart tv and peaked ceilings. There is a guest bath between the bedrooms with tub/shower combo. The bonus room on the lower level has a queen sleeper sofa, a twin bunk bed for kids with a 300 lb limit and its own guest bath, ceiling fan and smart tv.
Additional Amenities:
The laundry room is on the lower level and 2 car garage with kayak and beach gear.
The screened in porch is off of the kitchen and dining area with outdoor table and chairs to dine outside, grill and seating to read and relax.
The top floor has a deck off of both bedrooms with seating and views of the sound. Enjoy peace and quiet and sunset views!
The back yard is fully fenced in and can be accessed from the back porches, the driveway gate and from the garage access door. The hot tub, which is brand new and seats 7 ,and outdoor shower are also located down in the back yard area for privacy!
* The hot tub gets serviced weekly in the mornings Mondays and Fridays.
The Beach:
The beach walk is super easy as once you get to the top of the driveway you go over to the right to the first street and straight down 2 blocks to the public beach access, The walk is about 5-6 min comfortably.
The shops, grocery store and restaurants and more:
The shops and restaurants are all within a 3-5 min drive down the street. Super convenient for anything you may need, both Publix and Food Lion are in the same plaza along with ABC liquor, the book store, the pizza shop and coffee shop. The flip flop donut shop is down the street as well as all the great eateries: Village Deli, Trading Post, Caribsea, Snapperz, The Growler, The fish hut and more! Along with Walgreens, Wings, and Ace Harware. Everything you could want is right around the corner.

The house is beautifully decorated and included lots of little touches. It was very well stocked with anything we would need. The owner was super responsive to any questions and was very easy to work with. We enjoyed the screened in porch and my kids loved sitting on the upper deck. There were a couple of pictures in the listing that I thought looked like there was a boardwalk to the sound from the house, which there is not, so that was a big disappointment. The house is also a little further from the beach than I expected and includes crossing an incredibly busy road. Still wasn't too bad of a walk, just different than I expected. We enjoyed the area very much, ate at some great restaurants and enjoyed some time at Cape Hatteras, Fort Macon and Beaufort. The home is very close to lots of food and activities in Emerald Isle, so great location for things to do.

A beautiful house!! It was spotless clean. Kitchen has everything! Only 5min walk to beach. The house has beach wagons, kayak, beach chairs, beach towels and more. So sweet to share all those things. Quiet neighbors. Nice hot tub! Fenced in back yard! All stores and restaurants are in 3-5 min by car! Stay, the host is super helpful!! She responds quick and gave us great information for restaurants too.We were just happy there and relaxed!!

The house served my family well - nice common upstairs with kitchen and living room open to each other so we could all gather, cook, and enjoy meals. The hot tub was enjoyable with the grand kids. Back porch was comfortable - even in early January there were days temperature wise that allowed us to enjoy the space.

Our family had a great vacation here! The house is clean and beautifully decorated. The screened in porch is such a great spot to enjoy a conversation or morning coffee! The host was extremely communicative and helped us get everything we needed to make our stay easy and fun!
