Lovely stay in wonderful period house

Lovely period house on the edge Briquebec. Wonderful hosts who gave great information about potential cycle trips in the area. The breakfast was the best that we had during our 2 week stay in France. Yogurt, fruit, home made granola and jams, crepes, fresh bread / pastries and fruit juice. Delicious. Secure parking for the bicycles and battery charging for the electric bike was available in the garage, a safer option than charging in the house.

Very enjoyable.

Good location with a charming hosts. Superb breakfast. 2 minute walk into the centre of town. The town itself is centrally located so easy to get to both coasts of the Cotentin peninsula and the D Day landing beaches.

When driving into town it is easy to miss the property entrance if not careful.

Location was perfect walkable into Bricquebec. Our room was beautiful, designer decor and exceptional comfortable and clean facilities. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was exceptional with home baked patisseries and home made jams, plus perfectly cooked eggs and hot milk for coffee on request.

This stay was outstanding. There was nothing that could be improved. The building is a 1920s building filled full of period items and decor, but it also has clean andodern amenities in the bathroom - shower was excellent. The breakfast (which was ample and varied was the best we had tried in France - a selection of home made jams, good quality baguette and croissant, home made cakes , home prepared fruit salad with thick yoghurt (all jams, cakes and fruits were gathered from the garden). There were chickens and a rabbit in the garden that made this place harmonious with nature. The madame Agnès and her husband were so so friendly yet very professional. Excellent. I would highly recommend staying here if you get the chance!! The town is a short walk away with everything you need! We wished we had stayed here longer! Thank you so so much.

A delight to stay here

A great property which was comfortable, clean and very welcoming. The gardens were well kept and a delight to look out over. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice and more than enough for us. The location was just right as we were travelling towards the Ferry and needed somewhere close enough to be a short drive the next morning but somewhere nice for our last night experience. We will be back for sure.

It is difficult if I have to mention anything which we did not like and accordingly these are only very small issues. We did find the shower difficult to handle as the head was not attached to the wall and the curtain enclosure was rather small as you needed to hold the shower as well. Finding the property did take a few drives past as the gateway is on a bend in the road and it can be difficult to drive in and out with passing traffic. Restaurants nearby are not always open 7/7 but our hosts did help us to find one very close that was traditionally French and had really nice food.

This was the perfect place to stay. Our hosts were delightful, nothing was too much trouble. The house and garden are lovely. We had a delicious breakfast, the house was super clean. we were offered space in a fridge, tea and coffee an Dany time. We sat in the garden to enjoy a picnic supper. We were very happy.

Excellent value for unique accommodation.

This is a charming maison, with lovely, friendly hosts, well located in Bricqebec. The room was a balance of modern finishes and original character. The breakfast was a traditional French petit dejeuner with a wide range of treats, excellent coffee and freshly squeezed juice. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Eine wunderbare und sehr erholsame Zeit, die auf jeden Fall wiederholt wird.

Eine sehr schöne und gepflegte Villa mit einer guten Mischung aus alter und moderner Einrichtung, umgeben von einem großen Park, der gepflegt ist und auch ländlich genutzt wird, z. B. durch Hühnerhaltung. Das Frühstück ist wirklich außergewöhnlich. Es fehlte uns nichts. Agnès zauberte jeden Morgen wunderbare Köstlichkeiten, die nicht nur uns in Erstaunen versetzten. Alle Gäste waren begeistert. Noch nie haben wir bei unseren unzähligen Besuchen in Frankreich so etwas geboten bekommen. Zimmer und Badezimmer waren bequem und ein ungestörter Schlaf ließ uns eine besondere und sehr erholsame Woche verbringen.
