Very clean and comfortable, everything you need in a cottage rental. Garden access with chairs backing onto field. Local walk around fields. Provided little extras... flowers in rooms and homemade bread with butter on arrival which was an absolutely lovely touch. Watching the birds on the feeder was delightful. Very comprehensive folder on things to do and places to visit in Devon.
Slight lack of privacy in garden when neighbours are outside.

A lovely cottage, full of character and it beautiful surroundings. It was very comfortable to stay in with everything we needed and the owners supplied some nice touches such as fresh bread, milk, butter and fruit juice to greet us on arrival. We also loved the constant stream of birds to the bird feeders in the garden. It was lovely to see them from the kitchen window. Would like to return. Highly recommended.
Nothing really. But as it adjoins another rental cottage we could on occasions hear voices and a dog barking from next door (dogs are allowed) but this didn't particularly inconvenience us - it was just a surprise the first time we heard the dog (which I think barked because it had heard us).
