It was a lovely quaint building. Lovely large lounge with very comfortable sofa. Large tv, dvd player, books etc. fully equipped kitchen. Lovely bedroom with very comfortable large bed. Great shower. Beds upstairs in annexe were comfortable. Nice and quiet . The local pub is 5 mins walk and serves lovely food. Staff here were very friendly.
Staircase to the loft annexe. Needs more teaspoons as only 2 available and the shelves in the fridge door were cracked.

It is a lovely cottage , very comfortable beds , nice quiet area , good facilities inside the cottage aswell.
Easy to check in and out and communication with the host was very easy and straightforward.
We chose this location purely down to family living locally so we knew there wasnt much in the village other than the pub , but it was more about location rather than tourist attractions for us this time.
Easy to park outside too.
My only tiny gripe and it is a personal preference so may not be an issue for anyone else at all, but the lighting in the bedroom and bathroom was quite dull so I found it abit of a struggle trying to put make up on etc.
So would of preferred brighter lights , but like I said , that's just a personal issue for me and my eye sight , or lack of it 😂

Lovely village location. Lovely accommodation. Naturally cool in the heatwave was very welcome.
Well stocked kitchen with everything you need.
Comfortable bed. All on the ground floor.
Great local pub a short walk away, serving good food.
The walk in shower was good but getting the right temperature was inconsistent at times.
Smart TV was not great, could do with updating. Netflix did not work for us, despite having address code as Netflix kept asking to sign in by other means.
Location was spoilt by roadworks during our stay and most destinations were quite a long drive away.
Many flies around but fly spray was provided.

Everything I needed was already provided, including decent broadband. Lots of information leaflets for places to visit. Weather was a little poor but cottage was snug in the evening thanks to the log burner. Visited the nearby pub, liked the history of it, 😁 😁 the staff were very welcoming & prices were very reasonable.
Location was a little remote, miles of single track roads to reach it or venture elsewhere.
