About this cottage rental
Standing in grounds of 2 acres, with wild flower meadows, close to Okehampton and with access to Dartmoor National Park.. Ground Floor:
Living room: Freeview TV, DVD Player, CD Player, Woodburner, French Doors Leading To Courtyard
Kitchen/dining room: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge, Dishwasher

First Floor:
Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed, Freeview TV Ensuite: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet
Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included, remainder available for £18 per bag. Welcome pack and doggy extras. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate. Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer (shared with other properties on site). Courtyard garden with patio, garden furniture and BBQ. Natural grounds with garden furniture (shared with owners). Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are 6 steps in the courtyard (alternate level access). Kiln dried logs only for the wood burner.. This delightful holiday cottage adjoins the owner’s country house, standing in 2 acres in a rural position and is in an excellent location to explore the attractions and stunning landscape this part of the country has to offer.
Peartree Cottage has its own private patio and fence enclosed garden with gate leading to the wild flower meadow which guests are free to roam around. The area also features a wildlife pond - this is fenced off and gated. Peartree Cottage has been presented with a VisitEngland 4* Gold Award rating in consecutive years since 2012.
Okehampton is a short distance away and has access to Dartmoor National Park with its dramatic landscape. Okehampton’s rail station has recently been reopened providing links back to Exeter and the main travel routes across the country. Also within easy distance are the sandy beaches at Bude, the quaint fishing harbours of Port Isaac and Boscastle, spectacular coastal walks, numerous cycle trails, or enjoy a day out on the Hartland peninsula, visiting the lighthouse and the historic village of Clovelly. The R.H.S. gardens at Rosemoor, Castle Drogo, Lydford Gorge and numerous National Trust properties are also nearby. Shop and pub 2 miles.

A wonderful place. Everything was besutiful and welcoming. A beautiful place. Really enjoyed the new laid eggs and biscuits. A lovely surprise. A beautiful garden that despite rain was too tempting to avoid a walk to see all the little surprises. Far exceefed expectations.

A very picturesque cottage in a rural area. Owners welcoming and welcome pack generous. Plenty to see in the area, including visits to Cornwall and Devon.

Lovely, well appointed, cottage in a peaceful setting far from the madding crowds. well laid out with en-suites to both bedrooms and a cosy sitting room and kitchen. Private garden for enjoying a G&T after a long walk on Dartmoor, or just because you're on holiday. if you want to be able to walk to a pub this may not be for you; but if you want peace and quiet, and a perfect holiday get away, then look no further.
