Background: We are a couple in our 60's who love to travel, but are a bit more fussy about where we stay than most people (i.e. a bit spoilt!). We spent 6 days here while visiting family in the area.
This is an exceptionally great place to stay! The pictures do not do it full justice. It has great character on the outside, and modernized fully inside. Downstairs are two good-sized en-suite bedrooms, with lovely bathrooms, heated towel rails and great showers. There is also a utility room with a washer and dryer, so you don't need to pack your suitcase with too many clothes.
Upstairs you have a large kitchen with everything - hobs, cooker, kettle, toaster etc. All utensils, pots and pans. Nice touches like tea, coffee, sugar and a welcome bottle of wine. The upstairs is in an L shape with the dining room. balcony (with lovely views across fields), and lounge with TV that has Netflix etc.
Location is great - part way between the North and South coast, and 2 miles from Newquay airport (we were flying to Gatwick at the end of our stay). It's at the end of a lane, and is peaceful and quiet. No car noise, no loud music - suited us to a tee! It was very good value for money and we would definitely stay there again.
The hosts were both very helpful and unobtrusive. I don't usually give ratings this high, so highly recommend.

Beautiful property in a picturesque and convenient location. Super comfortable, high-end decor and every facility you could want. Hosts (who live next door) are incredibly friendly and welcoming, but you’re not overlooked and it’s very much self-contained.
