About this apartment rental

This newly remodeled home is close to the beach, dining and nightlife. It is very clean, private and has everything you will need. The garage stores all the included beach gear you will need to become one of the locals.

Home includes:

- Private Entrance
- 2 queen beds and pull out couch
- Full Kitchen
- 6 seat dining table
- Private washer and dryer
- Cable, WiFi, Smart TV's, etc.
- 2 quaint patios
- Outdoor shower
- Propane BBQ Grill
- Charcoal Weber BBQ Grill
- Outdoor seating
- Boogie board and surf board
- Cooler, beach chairs, umbrella, beach/park blanket, beach towels etc.
- Baby gear available if needed

The beach, downtown Encinitas, train station, wholefoods, farmers market (Sunday and Wednesday) are both a short walk away.

You will have access to the entire apartment, upstairs patio, downstairs patio and 1 car garage. There is also free street parking at the end of the driveway. The parking is first come first serve. The apartment is on the second story, up a flight of stairs.

For longer stays, we may require a cleaning every 10 days at a reduced rate.

We stayed for 4 nights. Couldn't have been happier with the location. Easy walk to the beach, stores, restaurants and most important, ice cream. Place was clean and well stocked (we cooked in one night). Overall, we definitely would recommend.

Check in information was provided 30 minutes after check-in time. We had to reach VBRO to contact owner because they were not returning our calls or messages. After we got into property we noted ants in kitchen and living room. Large amounts - we sent the owner a video and the response was something like ants come out once a year?! The front door would not lock/unlock the first time we tried leaving the property. We had to call the owner again. The description said nothing about the train being so close to the property. The property is dated and the floor and baseboards look dirty. This was not a pleasant stay. We have used VBRO before but this was not a good experience

Clean and well-stocked unit in a convenient location with everything you need to enjoy a beach stay! After a few days in a hotel, it was a perfect place to stretch out, cook a few meals, and use as a home base for a few days of soccer tournament and beach activities. It's a short walk to Moonlight Beach and a quick drive to anywhere from Carlsbad to Del Mar. Garage with great beach gear, laundry, and a place to park smaller (inside) or larger vehicles (in front of the garage). Would definitely stay here again in the future!

Accurately described and well equipped. Although within walking distance of Moonlight Beach, you have to walk a good distance down Vulcan Avenue to a light to get around the railroad tracks, which is not the most pleasant walk. Still, a good location.l

I stayed here for 10 days to work remotely while exploring north San Diego county. Great spot, great location, wifi was fantastic, and surfboard in the garage made jumping in the waves super easy. Will stay again.

We must say, it was a wonderful mini vacation staying here. The only minor issue was not receiving the information to enter the premises. I believe it’s the app. However, Nicole responded quickly and we had no problem after that. The property was clean and supplied!! Everything you needed for the beach was at our disposal. We were about a 10 minute walk to the beach. Lots of places to eat and visit if you wanted to explore. There are train tracks about 100 yards from you but it’s only passenger trains that go by. Quick and quiet, they are not bothersome at night. There is also a really nice park 5 minutes walking down the street. If you grow tired of the sand in your suits :) you can spend time there. We really loved our stay and would have no problem booking here again. Nicole, thank you for a wonderful and restful stay!

Clean well equipped as advertised. Close to the train but they are short and not very loud. Garage with lots of beach gear and good airflow through the upstairs unit. About 15-20 minute walk to beautiful beach and Encinitas has nice beaches, surf breaks and restaraunts.

Perfect size and location for a family of 4. Loved all the chairs, towels, umbrella for the beach. A few stains on the carpet and comforter. Couldn’t adjust fan speeds in bedrooms. Apt had everything we needed. We had a great stay.

I’ve been to Encinitas about six or seven times over the years, and this is a great option for those looking for something that’s close to the downtown area (just a short walk) and Moonlight Beach. Apartment is clean, has some good beach amenities, and the owner was quite kind and prompt in communication. The beds are comfy and there is a nice TV entertainment center for evening movies. I’ll be renting again in the future if possible!

Great property, comes equipped with everything you need for an amazing beach vacation. Clean, organized, close to beach and downtown. The beds in rooms were very comfortable. My only complaint was that pull out bed was very uncomfortable. Dishwasher could also be replaced, did not clean dishes well without specific maneuvers.

The property was perfect for what we were looking for. We needed an escape, my daughters wanted to explore So Cal schools and I desperately needed to get away from the smoke soaked air of NorCal. You can literally walk everywhere - coffee & breakfast, beach, shopping, etc. The house was fully stocked with all necessities (non-personal) - all we had to do was bring our luggage, and food and we were set. Both Nicole and the property manager were so responsive and communicative. I come down here often and will absolutely consider this me new home away from home.The only thing to note is that it is right across the street from train tracks. I don't recall hearing more than two or three trains that came through, probably more, just that it's not too disruptive.My daughter's friend wrote me a thank you note "this was the best getaway ever, I will never forget it". Mission accomplished ;- )
