Problem with the 'link'.

As previously stated.

When we arrived at the property we had great difficulty paying the €500 refundable deposit as the 'link' would not process the payment. There was no one on site so we had to phone and try to persuade our contact to accept payment over the phone, language proved a problem here but eventually we managed it. We had no access to the property or garage until this was done, we then received the codes for entry. The link needs sorting!

Fabulous location and views. Very comfortable, well equipped apartment..

Wi-Fi does reach the bedrooms very well; didn’t like the memory foam pillows, but that’s personal preference.

Amazing views and lots of comfortable space

The location is superb with wonderful views, direct beach access and a short walk to the lovely Baie d'Authie with its seals. The kitchen, living and dining areas are all very well-equipped and comfortable. Beds are also comfortable. We were impressed by the prompt and friendly responses of our hosts, Marie and Maxime, to all queries both before and during the stay. Instructions for finding the entrance and for accessing the apartment building and locating the lockbox are clear and thorough. We would like to stay again. Un grand merci a Marie et Maxime!

Wet and windy weather seem to affect electricity supplies. Only certain circuits were affected during our stay: we didn't completely lose electricity, we just found that certain plug sockets or shutters in a certain room weren't working. It's usually a simple matter of checking the fuse box by the TV (clearly marked with a notice telling you what to do) and flicking the affected switch back into place to have power immediately restored. If it had happened once or twice it would have been OK but it happened several times and in one case we couldn't get the circuit which powered the TV to reset for a couple of hours.

We hebben ons goed gehad en genoten van de rust.

De inrichting van het appartement. Niet gezellig. Alles wit, witte muren, witte stores, witte vloer. 10 luchters waarvan 6 verschillende (de meeste werken terzelfder tijd). Helemaal niet knus. Zetels waren ook niet gemakkelijk. Hopelijk kan het in de toekomst wat gezelliger gemaakt worden.
