One of the best

A truly wonderful apartment. The host was amazing, very helpful, and waited for us upon arrival. The retro style was fantastic, and the apartment had everything we needed. A beautiful place to stay that I can highly recommend.

Great Family-friendly place!

Our host greeted us and shared great information about the area and activities. The apartments were very clean and the retro decor was quirky and fun. We were two families traveling together so we had both apartments. The balcony views of the castle and surrounding vallies were wonderful. There is a nice outdoor seating area with grassy field our kids played in. We walked 20 minutes to Lake Bled or there is a bus stop for the free, regional summer bus 200m from the apartments. There was also a small grocery store 300m walk away. Our host was quick to respond to messages to answer questions and was always very kind.

Just note there is no oven or microwave (the host is clear about this in the descriptions so it was not a surprise). But we easily made meals on the cooktop since the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans.

It was the ideal launch pad for our daily adventures—and the perfect haven to return to each evening. And let’s not forget the hosts! Alesh was a super friendly and helpful host, welcome drinks on arrival were really appreciated. We loved the retro style - so much more memorable than another bland hotel room. View from the balcony was lovely. About a half hour walk to Lake Bled but if you turn off the main road you're walking through fields and forest and it's absolutely gorgeous. We much preferred not being in town as it was so much quieter. Our kids loved it. Make sure you go to Lake Bohinj as well.

Location is great, easy acces to Bled. Walking distance to Vintgar gorge. Rooms are spacious and view is good. The welcome drinks come with a good story.

Original appartment managed by a friendly host in the quiet hills close to Bled.

Friendliness of our hosts! Ales took the time to show us around, gave us wide access to his garden (including prune trees :-P ) He made sure to help whenever he could.

Giving some access to essential cooking material (oil, salt, pepper) would've helped us not to buy all of it.

What an amazing place! Its Retro, but NOT old! It looks like the house is brand new, but that you stepped into a time capsule, its beautifull. It has everything to make your stay comfortable, really good beds and a more than fully equipped kitchen. It has everything you need and even more than that. The Owners, Alesj and his mother are wonderfull people who make you feel welcome right away. Alesj gave us really good information about the area and what to do. It's the perfect spot if you don't like being in the touristic busy center of Bled, but close enough to Bled to enjoy it. It's on walking distance of the entrance of the Vintgar Gorge. We stayed a week but for us it was too short. We really enjoyed it and would definitely want to come back!

The house is extremely nice and is furnished in a really cool style. Everything was super comfortable and our hosts were amazing. The location is also really great, as it's a few kms away from the really touristic areas so it's calmer but still very close to everything you need. The apartment has an incredible view and it's very spacious. Ales and his mom, our hosts, were extremely welcoming and gave us tips on what to visit in the area - he even drove us to one of the attractions. Our stay really exceeded our expectations and we are looking forward to coming back again!

In the heart of Bled without all the tourists

A beautifully renovated apartment less than a 10 min drive from Lake Bled, and 3 min from Vintgar Gorge. Big bedrooms with comfy beds, a full-size kitchen and dining room, and a balcony with an incredible view. And topping it all off the hosts are wonderful, accommodating people whose family has lived in the area for generations, so they have great advice on where to go and what to see. For travellers who are a little more independent and like to stay away from the busy tourist areas, this place is perfection!

Séjour agréable grâce à l’accueil du propriétaire très charmant mais un peu excentré du lac

Le propriétaire est très sympathique. Le parking très pratique et le jardin tres agréable.

Pas assez bien équipé: pas de cafetière ni de produits de toilette dans la salle de bain (pas de savon ni gel douche) Porte d entrée de l’appartement en verre qui ne protège pas du bruit du couloir et n’empêche pas d être vu depuis l’extérieur. Concept rétro intéressant mais poussé un peu trop à l’extrême

المكان جميل ونظيف عباره عن شقتين علويه وسفليه ولها مطل على الجبال جميل ... بالنسبه للعرب معلومه مهمه كرسي الحمام منفصل عن باقي الحمام في غرفة معزوله تماما مما يصعب الغسيل لايوجد ماء . الشقه فيها بلكونه كبيره 3 غرف نوم وغرفة طعام ومطبخ مجهز كامل ولكن لا يوجد غرفة معيشه . أصحاب المكان تعاملهم كان تعاملهم ليس جيدا اعتقد انهم حديثين في هذا العمل... التعامل مع الضيوف يحتاج لباقه اكتر ...الموقع قريب جدا من بحيرة بليد .

Önellátó, de jól felszerelt konyhával. Az ágyak nagyon kényelmesek, és nagyon mókásak az 1970-80-as évek felszerelései (amelyek tökéletes állapotúak!). Aki szeretne egy kicsit visszatérni ebbe az időbe, annak kiváló választás.

We hebben het erg naar ons zin gehad in dit leuke en zeer schone appartement.

De bedden waren heerlijk en we hebben nog nooit zo’n schoon appartement meegemaakt! Het uitzicht is prachtig. De inrichting maakt het leuk en uniek. Tot slot is Alec een zeer aardige en behulpzame host.

De zitjes op het balkon zouden wat comfortabeler kunnen zijn. Dan maak je er sneller gebruik van, want het uitzicht is prachtig!
