While it is listed that house keeping is available upon request what they mean is that it is an extra fee due in cash upon arrival for sheets, towels, and a departure cleaning. The place itself is a nice apartment, but it is more like a 15-20 min walk to town up a steep hill! There is also no water park on site. There is a pool but you are not allowed to use it as it belongs to the family that lives below. My children were very dissapoitned about this. The apartment is clean and did have a fully stocked kitchen and a large terrace, overlooking the pool you cannot use.

Positives Cassis & the surrounding area is truly beautiful. Rental & living costs in Cassis are expensive & I felt the property offered reasonable value for money for what it was. However… Negatives The apartment is not located as outlined in the property description. It's a further 600 metres further up Jules Ferry Avenue (another 10mins walk up the hill). Due to having small children the proximity to the town centre was an important factor in choosing this property and so I feel let down that this aspect of the description was not 100% truthful. The property is in serious need of re-decoration & re-plastering throughout. Unfortunately we were unable to secure (ie. lock) numerous windows, particularly where the children were sleeping. The broadband signal was extremely weak. The bed frames in the 2nd bedroom need immediate replacement as they feel they could fall apart at any moment. Communication was difficult throughout the process compared to my experience with renting numerous other properties around the world and so was needlessly stressful and complicated.

Great appartment in lovely location

Well appointed appartment in an excellent location within 5minutes walk of the port and beaches. Facilities excellent, sun deck area a real plus point and the views lovely. Communication with the owner was first rate, as was our reception on arrival. Cassis is a brilliant little village with something for everyone. Fresh fish from the port every morning, two markets a week and excellent wines - we will definately return.

De belles découvertes

Appartement spacieux, doté d'une grande terrasses ombragée avec une très belle vue. Logement très bien équipé (il manque peut-être un ventilateur, du mal à garder un peu de fraîcheur). L'emplacement permet de tout faire à pieds, ce qui est très appréciable. Par contre, beaucoup de circulation du coup, donc bruyant, ce qui a pu être gênant pour trouver le sommeil. Dans l'ensemble très bien.

Nous avons passé un moment super agréable, calme et relaxant à deux pas du centre de Cassis et des calanques. L'appartement est calme avec une vue apaisante sur la mer et le phare. Rien ne manque, ni dans l'appartement qui propose tout ce qu'il faut point de vue vaisselle, électroménager, confort, que dans les environs. Seul petit bémol, dû probablement à la période de location, à notre arrivée, il y avait pas mal de poussière. L'appartement ne devait pas avoir été loué depuis quelques semaines car il était propre.

Wohnung passt tipptopp für einen Ferienaufenthalt mit (älteren) Kindern. Grosse Terrasse mit Sicht auf's Meer, gut ausgerüstete Küche, grosses Wohnzimmer, praktische Schlafzimmer. Es wird deutlich darauf hingewiesen, dass Lärm auf der Terrasse nicht erwünscht ist wegen der Nachbarn. Zentrum und Strand von Cassis zu Fuss gut erreichbar.

Appartement confortable très bien équipé (Wifi, Lave linge, Lave Vaisselle, four, Place de parking ...etc) Literie confortable. Très belle vue sur le port de Cassis depuis toutes les fenêtres de l’appartement et la terrasse. A 10 mn a pied ,du centre ville, du port et du départ des randonnées dans les calanques. A 1800m de la gare SNCF. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable, l’accueil et le départ ont été adapté a nos horaires. La dame qui assure l’accueil est très agréable et réactive. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement pour vos vacances en famille.

Appartement met groot terras met zeer mooi uitzicht op Cassis. Ruime en praktische parking (noodzakelijk in Cassis!). Goed uitgeruste keuken. Bedden in de kinderkamer zijn niet echt geschikt voor volwassenen (te kort en niet stabiel). Rustige ligging op wandelafstand van bakker en supermarktje. Strand en (heel drukke) centrum van Cassis zijn op wandelafstand, maar wel een steile klim om terug te komen. Calanques zijn wondermooi natuurgebied, maar omwille van brandgevaar in de zomer regelmatig gesloten. We hadden een zalige vakantie in Cassis.

L'appartement se situe au premier étage d'une villa et dispose (chose rare à Cassis) d'un emplacement pour garer sa voiture. Tout est accessible à pied, du village aux Calanques (si on aime marcher). L'appartement est inondé de lumière, avec ses grandes baies vitrées du séjour et de la chambre. Il est confortable, rien ne manque. La terrasse dans l'alignement du séjour est elle aussi extrêmement agréable. Les personnes en charge de la remise des clés sont d'une amabilité, d'une disponibilité et d'une gentillesse qu'il est important de souligner (merci beaucoup !). La propriétaire est soucieuse du bien-être de ses locataires et cela se sent. La vue est comme sur les photos (magnifique !). La piscine, inaccessible, appartenant au propriétaire de l'appartement du bas, donne envie, bien évidemment, mais cette envie est vite compensée par la plage de Cassis, ou mieux encore par les magnifiques criques des Calanques, qui en ce mois d'avril ont ravi les baigneurs !

Nous avons passé un formidable séjour à Cassis. Il ne manque rien dans cette superbe location, on est comme à la maison. Tout est fourni via un Pressing pour (linge, draps de bain de plage, serviettes) . Le confort est remarquable (lave linge-lave vaisselle). De plus c'est très calme et nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Quant aux propriétaires, ils sont géniaux, à nos petits soins. On a l'impression de se sentir en famille ce qui est bien agréable. Nous les embrassons de loin et espérons revenir un jour.

Die Vermieterin wohnt nicht vor Ort, die Betreuung erfolgt von einem ortsansässigen Service Center mit Internetcafe und Wäscherei. Die Zuständigkeiten zwischen Vermieterin und Verwalter sind aus unserer Sicht nicht klar definiert. Der Zustand der Wohnung entsprach bei unserer Ankunft nicht unseren Erwartungen, wir mussten reinigen und kleine Reparaturen durchführen. Das Internet ist nicht brauchbar, der Router verliert seine IP-Adresse. Trotz Reklamation und Problemhinweis wurde keine Abhilfe durchgeführt. Die Toilette hat kein Handwaschbecken, bei einer Nutzung mit 4 Personen empfanden wir dies als sehr störend. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis der Wohnung ist aus unserer Sicht nicht gerechtfertigt.
