Appartement avec terrasse panoramique au coeur de Nîmes

L’appartement était top, très bien placé, bien décoré et original.

L’appartement étant sous les toits, la climatisation n’est pas suffisamment puissante et seulement installée dans la pièce principale, pas dans la chambre. Lorsqu’on la met en fonctionnement, il faut 2 jours, par fortes chaleurs, pour faire redescendre la température dans l’appartement.

Odd arrangement with loo and hand basin being separate. S bit noisy with the night club and a bit of noise from the neighbours.

Very clean, excellent location, wonderful views, easy access

Strange vibrating/bass noise every few minutes (??) Small air conditioning unit was not sufficient for Summertime in Provence, I live in Provence. The neighbor left a really smelly trash bag outside of the door for 2 days, we saw him leaving when we arrived but he didn't take the trash with him. Steep 4th floor walk-up not appropriate for older people. The noise from the street on a Thursday night was deafening in the apartment even with the windows closed. Otherwise a good experience in a beautiful city ! ps, I'm a painter/decorator with 40 years of compétence, I would recommend changing the black walls in the entrance, bedroom and salon to a softer, more agreeable color, .. warm grey/taupe/beige etc. It works ok in the kitchen . .. overall, good decor. Thank you

location was wonderful, close to restaurants, bakeries, historic sites and transport. Love the location. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. It can be cleaner.

the walk up to the unit is narrow and difficult, especially on the top floor where the stairs are not even nor in good conditions. It is dangerous. Maybe for young people with backpack, it is OK. Not for older adults with even a small carry-on luggage. The biggest challenge for us was the malfunctioning of the door lock which happened multiple times. A very nice young man came by after we sent an urgent request for help the 3rd time the lock malfunctioned and gave us a physical key to the apartment. For us who are foreign tourists without a good proficiency in French, such lock-out incidents at a rental property is a nightmare and it is definitely not an experience we wish to repeat.
