Une seule chambre climatisée

Wir wurden sehr nett von einem Herrn empfangen, der uns durch die Wohnung geführt hat und alles erklärt hat (und uns auch gleich Empfehlungen für Nimes gegeben hat). Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral (gleich ums Eck erreicht man die Arena) und ist wirklich außergewöhnlich schön. Sie ist so perfekt ausgestattet wie noch keine unserer Ferienwohnungen zuvor. Die Wohnung ist sehr stimmungsvoll und trotz Zentrumslage sehr ruhig.

An der Wohnung ist nichts zu bemängeln. In Nimes ist die Parkplatzsituation etwas angespannt; die Arena-Parkgarage ist aber nur einen Katzensprung entfernt.

* Very spacious flat in period building. * Furnished in period style- we loved the large plants, especially in the sitting room. * Large rooms, high ceilings and tall windows, with plenty of natural light. * Great central location just south-west of pedestrianised part of Nimes city centre. * Full sized dishwasher and washing machine. * Lightweight bedding, suitable for the hot weather. Bedrooms were very dark at night. * Children’s television in English. * Eric (the owner) and Olivier (who prepared the flat for us) were very helpful and facilitated a late check in. * Good value for money. * Clean.

* Because of the central location, there was very little on-street parking. We left our car in an underground car park five minutes’ walk from the flat (les Arènes). This worked well during our stay but meant we had to be more organised at check in and check out. * We had to be somewhat mindful of noise to avoid disturbing neighbours in flat below.
