Lovely house with a great view of the ocean from the hot tub. Plenty of equipment in the kitchen and lots of blankets, towels, and pillows.

We visited Rockaway for the first time and are already planning to return at least once a year. This home is absolutely charming—with a delightful “rumpus room” that our kids adored. It was filled with beach toys and a variety of fun activities generously provided for guests.
The wraparound porch made it so easy to enjoy both lake and ocean views—an ideal layout for soaking up the surroundings. We also loved the hot tub, which offered a relaxing spot on the ocean-facing side.
Beach access was just a short walk from the house, which made outings with our three young children (all under 6) surprisingly easy. We made it to the sand with chairs and toys in tow—no complaints or “Are we there yet?” moments at all.
This is truly the perfect cozy beach getaway, and we can’t wait to come back.

Great access to the beach and walking distance to the center of town. The house was not as clean as other rental property we have stayed in, very disappointed. The second bathroom was down stairs in the garage, heavy musty smell. If I had paid more attention to the layout we would not have selected the home for our trip.
