Welcome to MagicwayVillas LionKing home at Anaheim Disneyland.

Elegantly remodeled single-family home with a pool and large yard.

Our elegantly designed Disney-themed House is a little over half a mile from Downtown Disneyland, only an 8-minute walk! With space for the entire family, our house is the perfect place to enjoy your Disney family vacation. Enjoy your own private gated pool and watch the fireworks from the back of the yard - your time at Magicway House is sure to create magical memories for the entire family!

This 5 bedroom, 3 bath home has just been completely remodeled with families in mind. The Master bedroom has a canopy Cal-King sized bed, a sofa bed and a 42" LED TV, DVD and is beautifully furnished. Next to the master is a fun Disney themed kids bedroom with a bunk bed (twin over full and trundle), a Queen size bed, PlayStation, TV, and games. The third bedroom also has a bunk bed that is elegantly appointed. The fourth bedroom has a queen with a TV. The fifth bedroom has a queen with a TV overlooking the beautiful pool.

Elegantly designed living area has a sofa bed and a huge 55 inch LG TV, blue-ray player, free WiFi and a Wii with several games. Cable subscription with Disney channel is also available so you and the kids won't miss your favorite shows and games while you're on vacation. You can also connect to Netflix through our blue-ray player or watch one of our favorite Disney DVD movies! The modern kitchen has all the conveniences including dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove, oven, and the pots and pans to help make a home-cooked meal. We even have a pancake maker and a griddle. Plates, utensils, cookware, children's plates and utensils, a crock-pot, coffee pot and more are all there for your use. A highchair and booster seat are also provided. Outside you will find a sparkling gated pool. A BBQ, and patio set are also available in the back yard so you can grill up your favorite burgers and hot dogs while watching the kids swim. In the garage, you will find a brand our Electrolux front loader washer and dryer for your use.

A keypad entry makes it easy for guests to get in and out of the house. There is no need to pick up a key so you are flexible to arrive when it is convenient for you. Plus you can make your own personal code so there won't be any worry of getting locked out or wondering where you placed the key. The key codes are individually coded for you during your stay for your security.

Our likes: a vrbo was better for our family , allowed us freedom and the children to play, the spa was delightful, warm and enjoyedOur Dislikes: musty smell in the house, mold in all bathrooms which the property manager was made aware of and resolved, towels were stained and thin, sheets were the wrong size for the bed, there were xtra pillows but no pillowcases, the kitchen table and chairs/benches were dirty, there is a hole in the wall in the backyard where neighbors were watching us

The house was very nice and clean. I wish there were more staples. There wasn’t even salt. Most Vrbo homes I’ve stayed in had more staples. The other thing is I didn’t understand that I could only have EITHER the pool or hot tub heated. So I chose the hot tub and the pool was too cold to swim in. We didn’t end up having much time for the pool anyway, but just wanted to let people know that you can’t have both heated. I can say the hot tub jets are powerful and much appreciated after a day walking at Disneyland. The big king bed is so comfy. I didn’t test the others but no complaints from the rest of the family. Kids loved the bunk beds.

The wall decals have seen better days. Captain hook missing feet, Hakuna Matata falling off in kitchen. Mattresses all dip in the middle and were not comfortable. The shower heads are really low, not meant for anyone over 5'3. The futon in the master bedroom is flaking off. The kitchen faucet leaks. The blinds in one of the kids rooms is broken so you can see in from outside. The faucet in the hall bath is pulled away from the stall and the towel rack is very rusted. There are bugs in the light above master bed. not fun to look at when laying in bed. We had to call the police on Friday evening to have a homeless man smoking pot escorted away from the front yard. The location is great. Home has great space. Could use some simple items like salt in kitchen.

3 Categories to Help You Decide... "Red Flags" 1. When we got there, the back door was unlocked. 2. Many of the beds were very squeaky. 3. I tried to contact the host twice during our stay regarding two questions I had with no answer. 4. There is quite a large gap between the floor and the bottom of the front door. 5. We had to buy a fan for our room. There were fans, but we needed more. We left it there. We couldn't pack it. "Doesn't Matter to Me" 1. The passcode worked, but more often than not, we had to enter it multiple times. 2. The shower heads are comically low. 3. It's also comical how many signs there are reminding people about the rules. "Excellent" 1. Location to Disney! 2. Driveway with parking! 3. Excellent kitchen! 4. Pool! 5. Comfy mattress and pillows despite the squeaky beds! 6. Excellent washer and dryer! 7. Enough hot water! 8. Enough space! 1 master with ensuite (King) - First Couple 1 master with jack and jill bathroom (Queen) - Second Couple 1 queen room - Two little cousins 1 bunk bed room - Two older cousins 1 bunk bed room - Two middle cousins. Two families stayed very comfortably. We would 100% stay again, and if some of those little things would get taken care of or fixed up, this place is the bees knees. If they had beach chairs and boogie boards available, that would be amazing too. They do have a lot of strollers though. We didn't need those. Again...excellent place. Would stay again. I would say more, but I only get 1500 characters

The house fit a party of 5 adults on a business trip with and privacy for all. Though it was designed for families and children headed to Disney it suited us and was within walking distance to the Anaheim Convention Center. Would certainly stay again.

Great location to Disney park entrance. For 3 families, with kids ages 1-8, we were able to access the park, shops, and restaurants all on foot. The double stroller in the garage helped. The house was very clean. Neighborhood very quiet even though just off Katella Ave. Each of the rooms very spacious. More house than we needed. We didn’t use the 5th bedroom. Will definitely book again if/when we return to Anaheim.

The house was very clean. The pool was clean and fenced in. It was long enough from the entrance to Disneyland that you won't want to walk. The liquor store down the street from the house had some unsavory people that yelled threats at us one night. The house was well stocked for a family with children. The paintings on the wall made the house feel fun for the kids. All in all a nice house as long as your don't walk to the theme park or around the neighborhood

Loved that we could walk to Disney (12 minutes) The other reviews mentioned you could cut across a parking lot to make the walk shorter...they do not let you do that anymore. so you just have to walk down the main street then up to downtown disney which is not a bad walk. Neighborhood was quite. Nice place to stay.

Our group consisted of 6 adults and one child. This house was perfect for us. There was an extra bedroom that we didn't even use. Had everything we needed and was walkable to the Disney parks. The interactions with the property managers was great. Would definately stay here again.

We were traveling with our 2 adult children and their partners as well as my 2 nephews (16 y/o and 6 y/o). The house was a nice size so everyone had plenty of space to themselves but we could also all gather together in the dining room or patio. We paid to heat the spa but not the pool but couldn't get the spa to heat until our next to last day when we realized the gas was shut off. We could have called for maintenance the first day and I am sure it would have been fixed but we were only home for a few hours each afternoon. The only time we really wanted to use the spa was after a day in the parks but due to the noise ordinance, we couldn't use it that late. So I would keep that in mind when deciding whether to pay the extra money. The kids never seemed to mind the pool not being heated on the hot august afternoons. The street is very quiet, perhaps due to noise ordinance Because the monorail wasn't running, we never tried walking to the parks but it was a quick drive to the parking garage and tram. It usually took us about 20 minutes to park, go through security, catch the tram and enter the park in the morning. We also received a quick response from management, anytime we had questions before and during our stay. We will use them again on our next trip

The management went above & beyond to make us comfortable & happy. The house is small, but sufficient for our needs. Kitchen had great coutertop space, a large fridge & most of the essentials stocked. Anything missing? A quick text & it was brought over that day with a smile. I gave it 4 stars for cleanliness, but I'm extremely meticulous about cleanliness. Having a fenced pool is a major bonus. The walk to Disneyland is 25-30 min. Suggestion: put in queen beds, instead of full size. Complaint: we paid extra to have the hot tub heated & it wasn't hot enough. Overall we were very happy with the property & would stay there again.

We had an amazing time. We took 9 kids 13-18 in age to Disneyland and had a blast. The house was perfect as it was enough space to allow the kids to have down time away from each other if needed. But also accommodated us all eating together and playing cards at the table. We would definitely rent this place again.

Overall, this was a good house, it definitely felt dated and I think it could use a good cleaning. A lot of the baseboards and doors were dirty. The bunk beds were very noisy and seemed a little rickety. The mattress' on the bunk beds are definitely for kids, very little support. The other beds were very comfortable and the space overall was great for gathering. We had 7-12 people staying in the house at any time. The property manager responded very quickly when we had an issue and it was resolved with no problems. I enjoyed our stay!

We had a family get together the week of Thanksgiving bringing together 6 adults and 6 grandkids. The Lion King home was perfect! The description of the rooms was accurate and allowed us to assign rooms before we arrived. I rented a scooter from Apple Scooter and the property manager JP swirled with John from Apple Scooter to make sure the scooter was secured in the garage before we arrived. The location was ideal. We walked to Disneyland a few days and also took Uber a few days. We also set on the front porch and watched the fireworks one night. I look forward to returning to the Lion King Home in the future.

One of the best things this place has going for it is the people running it and the maintenance man, Jose. We only ran into a couple of snags, and he was able to take care of them very quickly. One morning I woke up not feeling well at all and had to miss the morning at Disneyland. The family went on ahead and by afternoon I was feeling well enough to join them. I got an uber to the park and the house is so close it only cost me $6 (pre-tip). The kids had a great time coming home each day and playing in the pool and hot tub. It was a great way to wind down after so much overstimulation at the amusement parks. Well done to all who work on having places like this for families to stay together!

Our family enjoyed our stay in this home. Plenty of room for all of us. The pool and backyard are great and very private. It's close enough to Disney that we could walk there every day in 15 minutes. The only annoying thing is the HUGE contract to sign plus all of the reminder signage ALL OVER the property to remind us of the rules. Guests not following the rules must be a huge problem... it wasn't for us and all the signs were just annoying.

We've stayed in lots of VRBOs and never have we had such a great property manager! JP made us feel like family and we felt welcome and wanted like we were long lost friends. The property is in need of some updating but because JP was so welcoming it just seemed like we were staying with friends. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

We stayed here with littles ages 12, 7, 6, 4 and 2. It's a GREAT family house, my only advice to other families with little ones (4/3 and under), be mindful. There isn't any way to child proof the lower cupboards (sharp utensils), and if they can reach door knobs, pick up a pack of child door covers. Don't forget to put that lock hooked to the pool gate, and 2 of the bars on the fence were rusted through the bottoms so your kiddo could push past if not being watched. The only entertainment was the pool or TV, so I would plan to bring a game or 2 for active kiddos. Also when you walk, the best way is to cut into downtown Disney then ride the monorail. Quickest on the kids. For the house managers, I would highly suggest a kids activity or game room in the garage. The most enjoyment my kids got while there was pushing the stroller around in the garage 🤣 lol. I know it might not be feasible, but it would have been a game changer for us.

The house was super comfortable and the beds were incredible too! The pictures show truly how the house looks like, we didn’t get the chance to use the pool because we spent the whole day at the park but it’s big and with a very nice backyard area. Walking distance to the park although we decided to drive to the Disneyland parking lot just because we had older people in our group and after a long day of waking it just seemed like the best option for us but definitely doable if looking for a place close enough to walk from and to the park. Super clean with 4 bedrooms and a lot of space to sleep, the kitchen was big enough for our group. Excellent stay and highly recommend this place.
