Location superb,,,, nice quiet area

Bathroom lock could possibly need changing,,, and couldn't get the light outside the back door to work,,, but these are very small issues,,, the property was superb

Excellent stay in a central, St Andrews location.

It was excellent, exactly as described. The location was great, very central, with an off-road parking space. The apartment was great - very clean, with towels provided, and the heating kept the place lovely and warm. The host was very communicative, and gave clear instructions. If we come back to St Andrews, we will definitely stay in the apartment again.

On the hole the property was as advertised to a good standard in a great location and the bonus of a parking space

The only failing was the rear of the property which could certainly do with a bit of a tidy up.

Superb location, lovely property.

Location outstanding, very comfortable, all one needs for a short stay. There were incomplete sets of glasses which isn't a problem for 2 people but would have been a bit awkward if 4-6 were staying. No sign of the "restaurant" but all town's facilities are within a few minutes' walk. Dog was welcomed Would consider buying if up for sale!

Sign-posting to location of the property would ease initial access - door number or comment about proximity to the vets would have helped

Beds were a little small. We ended up sleeping separately. There were too many messages and emails from the host. It got annoying and made it difficult to find the relevant details.

The only downside, the previous visitors must have had a dog ? There was two lots of dog poo inn the back patio area, and two lots outside the front door area, underneath the bay window and by the bins !

Nice cottage but let down by poor communication regarding changed parking arrangement.

Good central location

We specifically booked this cottage as we needed allocated parking at the property. On arrival we found the parking was not available and we had to use a paid car park away from the property. Also had to make multiple trips to simple unpack / pack the car. I raised the issue but got no response.

The location was superb, it was immaculately clean and finding it had the small private courtyard was a bonus.

Only having one set of keys…. If I wanted to go to bed and my son wanted to go out, I’d have to be locked in so that my son could take the keys to get back in later which isn’t a nice feeling and I felt could be dangerous - if I had to get out suddenly I’d have had to climb out of a window! The ironing board was faulty and kept literally dropping to the floor when you pressed down to iron on it which was so dangerous. It also had no padding so you ended up ironing the metal grid pattern of the ironing board in to you silk wedding outfit; not a great look. The doorbell didn’t work; we didn’t know so missed our friends calling when we were in the courtyard and didn’t know they were at the door.

Great location for Town, Great parking

Great location, very handy with a short walk to the Town Centre and all that provides. Everything you'd expect is provided, clean and would be comfortable for 2 couples. Parking on site is very handy as can be busy elsewhere.

Sorry, but the constant automated messages felt very bot like, with no personal feel at all. I felt the strict entry and exit times (with ridiculous cost for 1 extra hour entry and exit, along with other extras) enough for me to photograph our entry time and exit... I haven't came across this level of non personal contact before with so many reminders of the limitations. (I have owned holiday homes previously so understand some constraints exist) We'd return for sure but please give some more thought to professional contact if you feel 3 or 4 messages, reminders per day is warranted.

Lovely base for a perfect long weekend with friends

Lovely central location, just a two minute walk into town and no need to drive through the centre of town to get there. It has one park space so no need to pay for parking. The cottage itself was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The sofa bed is futon so the mattress is quite a bit harder than a normal mattress but the person sleeping on it got used it. There was a slight issue because we didn’t have linen for the sofa bed but even though we realised after the letting office was closed the staff sorted it out very quickly and were very pleasant. Overall it was a great place for the three of us to have as a base for attending a wedding.

The only things are very slight niggles. There were only two dishwasher tablets and were staying four nights. As it happens we were out for dinner on three nights so didn’t accumulate much but if it hadn’t been a weekend of celebrations we would probably have eaten in more and been less happy to wash dishes by hand. The Wi-Fi works intermittently in one of the bedrooms and mobile reception is very poor in the location so getting or making phone calls can be difficult. However since we were out most of the time it wasn’t a big issue. There was a small damp patch by the bathroom door when we came and it persisted throughout our stay. It might be coming from under the shower. It wasn’t a problem for us but it did give off a slight dampish smell.
