About this apartment rental
The holiday apartment "Schmiede unten" is located on the ground floor and has direct access to the terrace. It is ideal for families with 2 -3 children, or alternatively 3 -4 adults.
The lower forge has a kitchen in the entrance area, a spacious living room with a dining area and two bedrooms.
The bright and friendly kitchen is located in the entrance area and is fully equipped (stove, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker fridge with small freezer, toaster and kitchenware). From here you come directly to the beautiful terrace. From the kitchen you can continue into the spacious living room with dining area. Here is a stove that provides a warm and cozy atmosphere even in cold weather. One bedroom has a 1.80m x 2.00m double bed with access to the garden. The other room (children's room) has a bunk bed which has a 1.40 mx 2.00 m mattress at the bottom and a 0.9x2.00 m mattress at the top and offers up to three additional sleeping places. The bathroom is small but nice.
Outside, a large garden invites you to relax, play and have a barbecue. As far as the eye can see, there are fields, forests and meadows.
The beach can be reached by car in a few minutes. There are shops in about 4km away Vogelsang-Grünholz. Next bigger places are Eckernförde, Damp and Kappeln.

Wir waren nun schon bereits das zweite Mal in dieser tollen Ferienwohnung, deren Größe, Ausstattung und Lage für uns (Familie mit zwei Kindern im Grundschulalter) optimal ist und auch bei schlechtem Wetter gemütlich ist. Das Grundstück bietet viel Platz zum Toben und Spielen für die Kinder und herrliche Ruhe und viel Grün für uns Erwachsene.

Die Wohnung im Nebengebäude des alten Gutshofs ist gut und gemütlich eingerichtet. Hervorzuheben ist die gute Kücheneinrichtung. Gut gefallen hat uns auch der Sitzbereich direkt vorm Haus unter einem Apfelbaum.
Wir haben lange geschlafen, weil es Nachts hier so dunkel und so ruhig ist. Rund ums Haus viel Platz um auf der Wiese zu liegen oder Federball zu spielen. Zum nächsten Ort mit Bäcker sind es 1,5km Feldweg, eine schöne morgendliche Entfernung fürs Fahrrad. Die Landschaft ist sanft hügelig, die vielen kleinen Straßen sind gut zum Fahrradfahren. Die nahe gelegene Ostseeküste ist oft von Campingplätzen belegt, schönen Strand gibt es etwas weiter weg (z.B. nördlich von Schönhagen). Das nah gelegende Eckernförde hat uns zudem wirklich gut gefallen. Insgesamt ist die Gegend also vielfältig und für einen Urlaub wunderbar geeignet.
