The cottage is beautiful, very handy to be next to the pub during the heatwave. So quiet and peaceful. Super dog friendly. Our hosts were very attentive and nothing was to much trouble.

A lovely welcome by Emily on arrival took me over to the Cottage showed me round . welcome pack bread /milk butter already there waiting for us. beautifully laid out with the front room upstairs with balcony to look out over the fields very quiet.
There is no downside to this stay it’s amazing.

The location, being next to the Miner's Arms and very close to the Forest of Dean. We particularly loved the balcony, which is a lovely place to sit and enjoy a glass of fizz in the evenings.
It could do with a sharp kitchen knife.

The location is great for what we needed it for. The cottage is always clean and tidy when we arrive and very nicely appointed.
The single bed broken when we were there. This wasn’t ideal at all and a repair was carried out but no communication about whether or not it was safe to use as it was strapped up with a rachet strap
