Pension Xacobeo Lavacolla

Stayed in Lavacolla prior to leaving on an early flight. The albergue was clean and comfortable, right on the camino. Nice back garden, close to a (very small, inadequate) market. Also super convenient to the bus stop and the 6A airport bus, if your flight suits its times. As my flight was before the bus began, i walked. The walk to the airport took about 45 minutes, a little longer than expected, because google maps drops one at the outer limits of the airport, and it takes another 10-15 minutes to get to the terminal.. However, there is a dedicated, marked walking path if you can find it!

Very simple but nicer than most pilgrims' hostels and very clean.

There were three of us, each with our own rooms, staying just one night as we walked the final leg of the Camino. The host met us upon arrival and gave us so much helpful information about her pension, the few local restaurants we could visit, and tips to pre-register for the Camino certificate in Santiago de Compostela. The rooms were clean, quiet, and so comfortable. My room had two twin beds, not sure about the other rooms. The showers had excellent water pressure, and there were extra towels.

It was perfect for what we needed, and we liked it all.

Very nice property close to all services

It was too hot to sleep. No fan. No a/c and very noisy with neighbouring dogs barking. No noise proofing so the noise of doors shutting and people talking in other rooms not good.We ended up leaving very early as we had not slept.Alot of money to pay for a lack of sleep. And we had ear plugs too
