A Little Gem

We had an absolutely delightful stay. The caring attention to detail in the accommodation and at breakfast couldn't go unnoticed, it suited us to perfection. Everything we needed and more. Many, many thanks to our warm-hearted host 🙂

Location is perfect for us - we have a friend who lives locally and is within walking distance of Apps.

Good location, 20 minutes from Poole ferry terminal. Clean and comfy rooms. Plenty of free parking.

Well located & convenient for the ferry port. Clean room & good facilities. Helpful owner & a decent breakfast with a good variety of food. Recommended for families.

Such a lovely surprise - the room and the host! Just a great stay!

Martin is a wonderful host! We had the family room (children ages 10 and 14) and it had everything that we could wish for. So many small details where you could see that somebody had thought it through. The beds were comfy and the breakfast great. Also, Martin gave us a wonderful recommendation where to eat. The food was really good! If we are ever in that area again we would book this room again. Thanks for the great hospitality!

Hidden Gem

Perfect stopover for us on trip to Brownsea Island. Huge continental breakfast spread with loads of options, far more than we could possibly eat! Complimentary mini fridge of drinks. Martyn was a great host and clearly a lot of thought had gone into giving guests everything they could need. Parking on street at property in quiet cul-de-sac.

Location was fine for us but in the suburbs so not many eatery options nearby. The one pub within walking distance was fine but if you wanted more options you'd need to drive.

Excellent location, great facilities

The location was the most important factor for us as we were visiting friends 5 minutes walk from there. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom spacious, private and all the extras in the room and toiletries in the bathroom meant all our needs were met.

Nothing not to like. First time staying somewhere where we didn’t have a key to enter and leave but no issues even when getting back late or leaving early.

A lovely home away from home. The owners really have gone above and beyond to make their guests feel welcomed and comfortable. The room was spacious and clean with a warm ambiance. The breakfast was a lovely spread and we really felt spoiled! Highly recommend!

Just wish we have a chance to go back again!

Apps B&B is the best of what a B&B can be. Incredibly clean, superbly catered, it’s like you are at home when everything is like your mum and mother-in-law had a competition on who provided the best place/room/bathroom/breakfast for their favourite child/grandchild. The hosts were also amazingly considerate and friendly. I really don’t wanna say more coz there were really quite a few delightful surprises, little touches that really warmed our hearts. Oh, and if you love dogs…. OMG…

What a gem! Comfortable, Beautifully decorated. The hosts are lovely! Breakfast was divine. They were so accommodating. If you want the very definitive B & B, this if your spot. The beds were so comfortable as well as the excellent private bathroom facilities.

Wonderful and welcoming home away from home

The stay was, as always, perfect. The rooms are comfortable, clean and welcoming. Delicious breakfast in the morning, Christine is a great cook. Most of all, both Martyn and Christine are lovely hosts, they make every stay feel like coming home.

Fantastic nightaway, would recommend to all and will definitely be staying there again if in area.

From moment Christina opened the door she was bright bubbly n welcoming. Showed us to room- fantastic! Everywhere clean bright n well looked after. There was coffee making facilities, fridge with complementary beer n wine in plus chocolates around the room. Shower room had shower creams etc for us to use, also spotlessly clean. Breakfast was lovely, great choice of cereals, fresh fruit, drinks and toast spreads. Cooked breakfast was lovely and delivered within minutes of us arriving. Pancakes were yum. Thank you. Fantastic value for money. Approx 20 mins drive from Poole quay where we visited for RNLI weekend.

Only one very small problem. House was situated on a bend and car had to be parked on the road but this was in a very quiet road so not a big problem. Fantastic night away, would recommend to everyone and we will definitely be staying there again if in the area.

B&B like out of a picture book. Amazing!

Best equipped room we ever stayed in. Plenty of treats, utilities and hygiene items. Christina is putting so much effort and love in making it an enjoyable place to stay. Also, the breakfast was amazing, with cooked and continental breakfast, fruit and everything. Also some very friendly conversations. Great recommendations by the hosts, we enjoyed our dinner at the recommended neighborhood pub very much.

Something like a dream which has materialised !

When you return to your parents' house, after a number of years, you are suddenly surrounded by the love and atteention of you Mum and Dadd. It was something similar, as soon as we arrived at Christina and Martyn 's, whom we had never met before. Thank you so much !
