Modern Well Located Ground Floor Apartment

Very well equipped modern apartment. Lots of storage spaces. Fast WiFi. The shower was very hot and had a variety of shampoos and soaps. Many coffee options. Friendly and helpful hosts. Well located to subway and about a 10 minute walk to the Acropolis’s entrance.

Worms in bathroom but perfect location if this doesn't bother you!!

Forget the worms!! This place is all about Location, Location, Location... it's close to the Acropolis and in the heart of Plaka. Perfect where it's at.

Small double room you can't swing a cat! If you've got big suitcases, I'm not sure where you'll store them! There's basically no window because you have to close the only one or the tourists can look in! Moreover, questionable hygiene, rug/carpet worn/dirty and some kind of thin, little worms in bathroom!! They seem to come out when you're showering and when it's wet!! We stayed for 2 x nights only and I felt anxious getting in the shower! They seem to be harmless but scary, yucky, unhygienic!! They shouldn't be there in the first place! See photos, booking. Com don't allow videos to be uploaded. Will stay in the neighbourhood again if we were to go back to Athens but not at this place.

Lovely restful stay in a great location.

The owner ensured she was there to greet us and handover the keys which is always welcome after a long haul flight. The room was very clean with a very comfortable bed and a fabulous location. The view of the Parthenon is always spectacular and we were able to easily walk to downtown Athens.

The room was a bit cramped. Difficult with big suitcases to manoeuvere our way around the room. Unfortunately because of the great location it meant there was a lot of human activity outside our window late into the night. This made it hard to get to sleep.

Traditional Greek house in the best part of Plaka

This place is not really an apartment; it's the largest part of a traditional Greek house, which was built in 1901. As in most of these houses, every room is at a different level, connected by stairs, so if you don't like walking stairs, this is not for you. However, I love these traditional houses and the views from the balcony and the roofterrace are simply 2 die 4. The bed was one of the most comfortable ones I have ever slept in, with supersoft pillows. Moreover, the property is situated in the most attractive area in Plaka, with several good restaurants and bars only seconds away. They do get noisy at night, but I quite liked that and it didn't disturb my sleep. You don't have to worry about traffic noice, since there are hardly any cars in this part of town. This is by far the nicest place I have stayed in during my visits to Athens.

The location was perfect and a lovely apartment, well kitted out.

It looked bigger in the photos, outside area was stunning but bathroom could have been bigger. It was fine for me and my two daughters but it wouldn’t suit anyone with mobility issues.

Good accommodation at the city centre and very close to major Athens tourist attractions.

* The host's communication. * 9 mins walk to Acropolis gate. * 3-4 mins walk to Monastraki square and shopping area. * The basic features in the room were good (this is a furnished home concept, don't expect the facilities of a star hotel) * Linens and towels were clean and good. * Water, Soaps and shampoo was enough and good quality ones. * Since the location is very near to everything, after every site visit you can come to the accommodation and relax.

* The wooden floor in the room are causing some black weevils in the room everywhere. * Recommended to put a dustbin in the room as well. * No daily cleaning of the room.

An incredible location right in the heart of Plaka!

The location of the property couldn’t have been more perfect for our short stay in Athens. In the heart of Plaka and right beneath the Acropolis it was magical. Panagiota was a lovely host and great communication throughout.

Perfection

Wonderful choice! We loved everything about this place. Everything was impecable and sparkly. The view was of course priceless and It was very convenient to be able to be at a walking distance of all the great historical places. Panagiota is a wonderful hostess. She arranged for airport pick up and drop off. Thank you so much for everything!

Most beautiful compact place

Best location in Plaka!! Everything you wish for is here, coffee, hairdryer, bottled water, even a fridge. Best vibe restaurants merely 60m away. Excellent wifi We have slept like babies. Dark and sound proof unit Sooo beautifully decorated

We had the downstairs room. A little outside space to enjoy coffee would have been nice, but there is really no space. So it was perfect

Fantastic location for a short stay in the centre of Athens within walking distance from Acropolis

The host was very friendly and welcoming. She accommodated our late arrival and late check out, and offered Easter eggs and treats to the children. The location is incredible. Although small, the apartment has everything you need (apart from a washing machine).

One suggestion for improvement is to upgrade the pillows.

The room was adorable, the host was responsive, and the wifi was strong. Plaka is a wonderful neighborhood- I absolutely loved staying here!

The street outside is very noisy at night due to live music late into the night, so if you are a sensitive/light sleeper, it may not be the right apartment for you. However, if you want to be in the heart of the action, it's perfect!

Acropolis and 360 view of Athens

Perfect location under the Acropolis. Close to the anafiotika steps full of cafes, restaurants and shopping. The 2 terraces provide the perfect view of the Acropolis as well as a 360 view of Athens. It's the second time I've stayed here and will be back again! Panagiota is the perfect host.

Fanstactic views and great location

Lovely place in the heart of Plaka with everything you need. Beds and pillows were super comfortable and at this time of year, proper heating was on. The two rooftops at different levels, even when cold, were just so amazing. Spoil yourself. The location is perfect for all the main sights too, with easy walkable access to the other districts. The local BEAT taxi app is brilliant and much cheaper and more efficient if you need a quick ride anywhere too.

Amazing location

The location was amazing! Around the corner from beautiful places to eat and drink, and a short walk from shopping, Metro trains and tourist sites. The Acropolis was a stones throw to get to

It was a bit cosy for two people, being a smaller property. We did find some cockroaches in our towels. The shower holder on the wall was upside down, so you couldn’t hang the shower head up to take a shower.
